This is really a very strange creature. It burries itself right under the surface of the sand and all you can see is the shape of it and the eyeballs. Every once in awhile it flutters a bit and rearranges itself.

A torn-up tire on a rugged dirt road in Northern Minnesota.

Always a challenge to make good use of the wee shot-gun bathrooms in West End flats, but we think this works well. The bath is pushed into the window space, and the wee step thing on the left works well for your glass of wine, book etc. The floor is natural stone tiling.
