We received a nice snow storm this week. The snow was wet and stuck to everything making for some beautiful scenery. I've taken many a mediocre shot of this area, and felt that I finally did it justice with a few shots from this session. There were quite a few people in this shot that had to be cloned out to make it nice and pure. This is what I would imagine the scene would have looked like if it weren't very cloudy in the morning when I went out apparently the third soul to do so judging by the tracks.

There is something about snow that gets me so excited. Partly, it's the promise of skiing, but I think I love the cold air and the beauty of it all.

They must have been ugly even in the 60s when they were new.

The only flat tire I saw in Tokyo--this bike was parked outside of a shop, seeming like some sort of ad for the store. It's quite a classic--no derailleur, and is that a leather seat? Great bike.

1930s Art Deco Flats facing Marine Parade West at Lee-on-Solent Hampshire, the building extends round into Pier Street the start of which is seen at extreme right.

Part of a Art Deco building spree during the 1930s at Lee which included constructing houses too in the same style at the time.

The modern windows on the right upper floor were probably installed as a cheaper option to the original frames which might have been expensive to reproduce.
