I'm mad at you for giving me a bath, so I absolutely refuse to give you the satisfaction of looking at you while you take a picture of me looking like a drowned rat.

The Flat Creek Ranch is eligible for the National Register of Historic Places under criterion A because of its association with events that have made a significant contribution to the broad patterns of our history, and in particular because its origins and development reflect the contours of settlement and social development of Jackson Hole. Indeed, by following the history of the Flat Creek Ranch the various contexts of local development – early settlement, dud ranching, the emergence of hobby ranches and retreats by outside owners – take a concrete form. The ranch formed a representative and key determining element in transforming Jackson Hole from an isolated ranching valley to a haven for outsides, especially for the nation’s elite seeking remote sanctuary.

The buildings of the Flat Creek Ranch are in each instance original, dating from construction in the early 1920s.

i just worked out how to post-process in gimp as if using a filter on the lens. a bunch of ways i expected to work didn't, but this does: use the "colorize" option to change the image to the colour filter you wish you had used (adjust the saturation to set the strength). then destaurate. here was red/yellow (obviously).

[update] ignore the above - it's not right. i'm not sure what colourise does, but it's not what i thought. better to use filter pack.

Flat SHPO enjoys a visit to the Chapel at El Presidio de Santa Barbara SHP. Santa Barbara was founded here in 1782!

This flat feels very sterile, and it's very big, and almost completely lacking in soft furnishings. Earlier today I retreated to my bed for a bit, as I was getting freaked out by the huge-ness of spaces here, and the way that sounds bounce around before reaching you.

I'd also like to know if the dishwasher works.
