On my drive from Geneva to Florence I got a flat tyre. With a bank holiday and places closed sundays, it meant I had to drive 3 days without a spare. The tyre had only been refitted 2 days earlier. The biggest hassle was that my car was full to the brim with my life!
The thumb was provided for scale. It turned out to be a morsel for munching, which I didn't notice until I reviewed the photo later. It did not take much to provoke this centipede.
Correction: this appears to be a flat backed millipede. Centipedes have one leg per segment. This has two.

Built in late 60s or early 70s and designed by the City Architect to replace slums in the area. Many of the city flats are orientated north/south to maximise sunlight and keep shadows to a minimum. They are made with reinforced concrete and have granite rubble cast into the concrete to minimise staining from rain.

Captains Flat is an historic mining town south of Queanbeyan in the Southern Tablelands of rural New South Wales with the Molonglo River running through it.
"The area was originally inhabited by Ngarigo Aboriginal people prior to European settlement. The town formed as a result of mining for gold, silver, lead, zinc, copper and iron pyrites in the hills surrounding the upper reaches of the Molonglo River. The town boomed from 1881 to 1899 then went into a rapid decline until 1939 when rail access revived mining activity for another 23 years." [Text courtesy of: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Captains_Flat]. There are so many areas of natural beauty in and around Canberra, it's certainly worth a visit!
The reason they are linked to my pinch river profile is because they will inevitably feed into my work at some stage in some way or another, but for now can just be enjoyed as images of the area that captured my attention and inspired my creativity.

Flat Roofing Swansea is very various from additional standard actually peaked or angling roofs. However while you could assume the only distinction is in the appearance, you will quickly see that roof upkeep is probably much more essential than maintenance on an angling roof.Visit our site bwconstruction.co.uk/ for more information on Flat Roofing Swansea

Flat Creek is one of the more distressed creeks on the Monmouth Bayshore. It looks pretty here, but it is subject to too much engineering, illegal outflows, trash dumping, and general disregard. If you live near the northern stretch of Route 36, you may have seen Flat Creek flooding out on the highway during nor'easters.
