Pentacon 50 f1.8. Used my nissin i60a and some HSS. Took a few tries before I was satisfied. Also I had to stretch to get my camera close enough!

A downpour swept in over the Colorado National Monument and across the Grand Valley last Saturday. About an hour afterward the run-off came over the edge of the Monument forming waterfalls that were visible from from the opposite side of the valley. They didn't last long.

First of all, yes...this is a 366-1 photo from March. Yep, March. I'm that far behind. I HAVE taken the photos. Just haven't uploaded them. Oops. So we'll just pretend that I'm not that far behind.
Got my new Speedlite today. Yippee! I'll be photographing my friends wedding nex month and I feel certain I'll need it. Now I need to practice using it.

I have a rainbow maker stuck on my living room window. Sunlight falls on a photo-electric cell producing electricity, this turns an electric motor which turns the faceted glass pendant so producing a coloured spectrum which moves around the room. As I was sitting looking at it turning a sudden flash of light appeared on each revolution. By using the "live" mode on my iPhone I was able to capture it. There were two distinct bursts of colour, this green one followed immediately by a red one. I presume the centre appears white as the light is so intense it is very overexposed.
This a part of many months work. producing Flash art on found frames. If anyone wants any let me know.

I took part in the Manchester Weekender 2012 presents All in a Flash - a one day photography exhibition on the 14th october 2012.
Under the guidance of Len Grant, we tried to capture the characters of the Manchester Northern Quarter.
My theme was people at work within the Northern Quarter.
After taking photographs for a couple of hours, we each had a single shot printed out and took part in an exhibition flashmob - best described as a guerilla gallery.
Unfortunately only one shot was printed, so this gallery is an opportunity to say thank you to some of the other people that were kind enough to let me take their photograph.
