On the Pacific Crest Trail for the first time. I was in for a few treats including some unexpected snow from the night before.
going through some old family slides and came across this one... my first christmas in 1973, with my brother behind me... notice how he's pointing a shotgun directly at my back with his facial expression, ha! he was probably thinking, "take that little sister!!"
Not a good shot because of the light, but this is one of First Glasgow's single-decker Wright Volvos in the special livery for the 747 AirLink service from the West End to the airport. Here it is at Partick bus station.
She got to compete in gymnastics this weekend and had so much fun. All of the girls in her age group got medals. So she was very happy:D They were all in first place. I think it's because they are so young and they would propably be sad if only some of them got something.
After our first day at Legoland Florida, this is my booty for the day. This is an amazing set, filled with a lot of neat features and NPU, as well as being a great price per piece ratio.
And yes, awful pic is awful. Taken with my phone camera, with hotel lighting.
By the way, don't ever stay at the Best Western in Winterhaven. It's the closest hotel to Legoland, but stay somewhere else. Anywhere else.
Whilst a young train spotter, some of my first early efforts at railway photography with a 120 film Box Camera. Taken sometime in the mid 1950s. Reproduced here for historical interest only.

Another shot from Monday's afternoon walk in Pontefract Park.
No glitzy or large banners with the comments or invites please :-)
this nasty glass cabinet was the heaviest thing ever. it filled our whole extra room (kabinett), in fact, half of it stuck out of the door. haha. we weren't allowed to kick it out.
First Essex Dennis Dart / Plaxton R719 DJN is seen laying over in the centre of Clacton on a quiet Sunday afternoon in January 2015. This is a very early example of the Pointer 2 style of bodywork which is now deemed non-DDA and will be one of many similar vehicles being withdrawn in 2015.
Framed by two mature trees, First Potteries 60074, passes through Hartshill close to where I live. 60074 (V832GBF) was one of 3 Scanias with Wright Axcess Floline bodies, delivered new to First PMT ten years ago. This bus met with an unfortunate accident in its first year and was returned to Wrights for repair. After a few years, the bus moved to First Manchester, and for a short period, First Edinburgh, before returning home in August 2007. Upon return, 60074 received "unilink" route branding for service 25 (Hanley - Keele). Although on service 25 when I took this photo on 9 August, the branding has now been removed.

A beautiful 1850s stone and limestone church in the west end of Cincinnati made for a great start to VCX4!
My girlfriend is a big First aid Kit fan, so after seeing them in Zürich and forgetting to bring our cameras, we went again in St. Louis in France and it was amazing very small venue directly at the stage!
