This is the first draft of a slide for an upcoming sermon series titled, "Shaped to Serve."

Sermon titles for the series include

I started out simple, then soon found out I actually really took a liking to the simplicity of this piece. I'm still trying to work out all the kinks, primarily adding grunge and other special effects to my work, but I don't know if this piece would need that.

Still, I think that this is completely up to suggestion, and I appreciate any feedback, thoughts on new direction, etc.

The colors of this piece match those in the church's logo (other than the red), and we use the simple figures for some visual identities at the church, so there's some consistency there with respect to other pieces.

My first shot after landing in Bali and a 3 hours wait sorting for one of my luggage that didn't follow. So I had to struggle with an improvised base on which to place camera.

Woke this morning to the first snow of the season. There's always something special about the first snow. The question is, will it stay or will it go?

After negotiating Wedgwood Road and the higher reaches of the Talke estate, the decker heads down Ashenough Road to access Monument Road and the sister village of Talke Pits. For the chap in the cap this was familiar territory; for the other, this seemed a good time to seek the reassurance of the Ordnance Survey map.

The first hastings station was built by the s.e.r and was opened on feb 13th 1852, it was rebuilt in a neo-georgian style in 1931. The present building was built in 2004.

I managed to get a few shots of Thomas learning to walk. This is the X100s shooting into a very backlit scene. Exp Comp was on +2. The AF worked much better than I was expecting and the hit rate was pretty impressive.

Holly is not quite ready to take that step into the deep water. I will take her out to the sandbar where I can let her leave her feet while I hold her up and get her used to swimming. She doesn't naturally want to swim on her own. She jumped off the dock without hesitation today. She is gaining confidence as she matures.

I decided that, although it looked way cool and punk-ish when it was really clean, my thin hair quickly oiled up and left that long section looking like a side-of-the-head-rat tail. So I CHOPPED IT OFF! Good.
