I may never sleep tonight,

As long as you're still burning bright.

If I could trade mistakes for sheep,

Count me away before you sleep.

I'll still wait till I trade my mistakes,

So they fade away.

I fill the room in this body,

Deserted, my organs can go on without me.

You can't fly these wings.

You can't sleep in this box with me.

Mitchell's first day with dad on a run. This was a good 6-mile run in the jogging stroller and Mitchell did great. He didn't fall asleep, but seemed to enjoy soaking in his surroundings.

This little monk was passing out blessings as we walked into a temple in Nara. We saw him again later in the market.

These were my first attempt at making flowers. Looking forward to making more!

First shot with my new/old Polaroiad Automatic 250 Land Camera.

First time crocheting clothing. I didn't really enjoy it as it's too plain for me.

The first rays of sunshine. The flimsy curtain becomes golden.

The light plays with the white stuff and makes it gold.

A moment that lasts less than two minutes.

Then it is gone, peace and all.

When we were finally discharged from the hospital after Addison's arrival, Hayden wasn't going to allow his new baby-sister to be the only child mommy was to hold on the wheelchair ride to the front door.

This March, Little Sprouts learned about gardens, how to take care of them, and the critters that may live within!

Just before the entrance to Bryce Canyon National Park, the road runs through the awesomely red Red Canyon.

Yessir', this was my first commission mural done on my High School Campus. I painted this beast on the wall outside the ASB room and hopefully it outlives me and beyond! What do you think? Also, if you know anyone who needs a mural, give me a hollar! :)

The first of many photos from our recent film meet-up at Epcot. I wanted to get a classic shot of the entire atrium and some of the actual pavilion (like the ones from the 80s). Sadly, this is no longer possible because of all the trees that have grown in. I lucked out, and was able to take this one 'backstage' in the walkway between Soarin' and JII.

A couple folks from Pixie Project (http://www.pixieproject.org) were out on Hawthorne introducing animals to passersby. This was our very first sighting of Elle, in the arms of Hannah (sp?). We instantly fell in love with Elle, and filled out an adoption application pretty much on the spot!
