my chin is less puffy, and i'm feeling happy about that! also about the scarf i'm wearing which was from charming charlie. i saw it on a monday. thought about it all week, and went back on a saturday to get it.

At last -- real downpour.. Madison had only 0.31inches of rain in June -- only 7% of normal June rain and breaking a 117-year record. Nothing in July until today, threatening area corn crops. I hope this hit area farms in time to do some good. The good news in Madison, at least, was that we had a light, gentle rain this morning, which wet the ground enough that tonight's downpour wouldn't all run off.
what's great in Petra is that you don't have to follow any paths or stay within certain limits... you can just go wherever you want.

We had set out to the Havre De Grace side of Maryland for this shot, finally got one no more than a minute after K143 came across CSX to our left!
The reason I haven't been around is that I've been sanding this face plate down - see previous pic for comparison. It's took ages! Fixed the body too so it's not so floppy. Now just to seal and add make up. I'm trying to take inspiration from Kat von D for the faceplate, whether I'm any good is another question!
I finally carried my camera with me and took pictures, but not until Sunday evening when people didn't stay still very well. I aimed to take the oddest combos of cosplayers.

Harry Potter Yule Ball on Sunday Night.
Finally got our Warriors championship hats! We all left work in a hurry just to head to a nearby Dick's store to grab these, haha. The Warriors' 2022 NBA Championship Victory Parade in SF was also happening this day as well, lasting from 11:20 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Unfortunately we couldn't attend since we had work, ugh lol. We only watched it on our phones. Anyway, a big congrats once again to the Warriors for another NBA title! (Monday, June 20, 2022)
