I have been chasing the local bald eagles trying to get a decent shot for years and to date this is the best shot I have captured. I have gotten closer but the lighting wasn't good or they were in a very brushy spot. This is still not a stellar shot but by far the best that I have captured.

I finally got in front of him so I could photograph him.

Our local stores are finally getting inventory

I have had this quilt finished without the binding for almost 2 years now. I put the final stitches in it last night, and pulled it out of the dryer this afternoon. Whew!

The solder job is not too brilliant. Too much insulation for a proper crimp. But it works. The shrinking tube helps too.

 

I should like to find out where to get these clips. I have a feeling I might need more...

What a job it was painting the shop. But the dark purple that was on the walls when I bought the shop is now gone! It's amazing how well the shop photographs now. When it was the dark purple I could not get a decent shot.

After "peaking" on the flavor trip, we treated our tongues with sweet wine as the taste bud hallucinations slipped away.

 

"9-1-1? Yeh, I'm having a bad flavor trip - I need someone to talk my tongue down. My taste buds thought they could fly and jumped off the roof of my mouth, and..."

 

Chelsea is finally accepting food in her mouth and not spitting it out immediately. Yay!

Age: 8.5 months

I swear this is the only time I've ever seen him lie down without being completely passed out asleep.
