Yesterday I got a phone call to tell me that Alex has tested positive for Coeliac Disease. He has to have a biopsy, and if that is positive, Alex will have to change to a totally gluten free diet for the rest if his life. I'm so relieved we finally know whats wrong after so many months of worry. Thank you to everyone who has been a help and support during this time :)

We finally took off from Charlotte. Charlotte is where planes go to be delayed, at least that's been my experience. At least there's free WiFi.

Got a night that was clear and it wasn't -10 c. got to test the cameras and was shocked kind of.

The Sony hx50 takes a nice pic even after shutter speed, aperture adjustments

The Pentax XG -1 (kodak 522) took the best moon picture but outer space?

After a busy day fishing for juicy bits of kelp, this flock of Ring-Billed Gulls has settled down to enjoy the rest of the afternoon sun. This is the east part of Locarno Beach, just west of the Fisherman's Pier which is on the west side of the Jericho Boating Club. In the background you can see Stanley Park on the left, downtown Vancouver on the right and some of the mountains on the North Shore.

It has been an awful long time since I've uploaded a picture on Flickr. Well, last week, we've been to Washington D.C. with my High School Choir. It was the perfect time, great weather, no rain, and blue sky. And of course, it was the season for the famous cherry blossoms growing in D.C. I experimented with some Curves in PS, I would greatly appreciate a feedback, I'll post more pictures the next few days. By the way, the obelisk in the picture is the Washington Monument, with 555 feet (169m) the tallest structure in D.C
