Getting this dog to hold still for a nicely-composed picture is like trying to herd bees. It just doesn't work. I'd have better luck trying to wrestle an oiled-up boar. An oiled-up, rabid boar.
But here, she sits plainly and still, front paws crossed, as if waiting for a picture.
Perhaps she's found another outlet for her canine narcissism.
Finally got the first carved tree spirit to its new location. All varnished, but more coats later. The top is anchored to the trellis via a strap until a permanent anchor is made.

The trick (and Apple's dirty little secret of how badly nobbled FCExpress is) is that this only applies to clips that conform exactly to the handful of "sequence presets" shipped with FCExpress.
Shameful.
Hope FINALLY gave me a peek today! I counted 2 strong, healthy hatches. This little guy, to the right of mom's foot, has been given the name "Big Frank"
