In this video, it shows my area getting rain finally. It's finally raining in California! I honestly missed driving in the rain... I even heard a couple of thunder while at home eating dinner, prior to driving! While barely starting to drive off, I saw a lightning flash just to my left! The downpour continued for another minute or so before subsiding... More spotty showers continued thru the night... Talk about a sudden change in the weather after a very boring & dry December! Looking ahead in the forecast, more rain was on the horizon which was a welcome sight after experiencing one of the driest Decembers on record... Video footage taken from around San Jose, CA. Weather forecast/update: Rain to start the new year!
A weak low pressure area was moving northeastward toward NorCal. This is the first of several systems that was to move across the north state during the first part of this month. None of these systems are very strong or cold (though this weather pattern was to be quite different than what we saw last December). This day thru early Saturday, we were to see periods of rain showers with snow levels 6000 feet or higher... By Monday, another stronger low pressure area was to be approaching the coast. This system was to bring more widespread rain (and wind) to the Bay Area Monday thru early Wednesday or so. It looks to be that this system was to be the first decent storm system we'll see so far this rainy season, even giving SoCal a good drench as well!
This page took a very long time to come together - there are many, many layers of stuff on here. But once I added that gigantic flower in the middle, it all seemed to work.

Arriving to the cafe this afternoon no one was sitting outside in the sunshine. One reason for that was that there were no chairs and tables where we usually sit. So I walked in and grabbed one of the outdoor chairs and a few minutes later I ordered Jujja to walk in and nick a table, which he did. May arrived with warmer weather and it was great to be able to sit outside again, even considering the weird theories about alien life forms and what have you that Tompa Eken delivered, but that is what he usually does so it really was business as usual.
Took Mackenzie out on a run down the street and she was MVWA* the whole time, only finally falling asleep when I was about a mile from home.

... we have had a wet spring.... and I suppose this has resulted in an abundance of wildlife here at the lodge.......... and Billy.............. "this moose".............. cbc

Finally our street gets its tarmac today. After months of construction right beside my bedroom it's probably back to normal soon. Finally.

Finally got rid of the weird thing at the corner of the lips from all my characters, that's really a improvement over what I got.
I knit all the pieces of the jacket in about a month. Then they sat for 4 months until I seamed the jacket together. Seaming isn't that bad, but I'd much rather knit.
