I had this sort of cobbled together last month but put off sewing in the lining and the snaps (which were an exercise in frustration).

A Doll A Day 2015
January 18
It will be 50 degrees today. Maybe the huge pile of snow next to the deck and the snow in the backyard will finally met. Probably not.
Wore my green skirt today. Looking forward to not needing tights.

That's what I said out loud when I finally found the blue sheet today! I have been waiting to find it and couldn't believe that it was a full flat for the ridiculously good price of $1.49.
The thrift shop I found it out is usually pretty expensive as far as sheets go, so I don't know who priced this one!
Now my set is complete!
Finally I pulled myself together and dyed my hair after months of blond bottom making me wear headbands...and yes, the same color as always:)
The funny thing is that it drives my cat CRAZY! I think it's the henna smell, because every time I dye my hair he goes insane and tries to eat it, attack it, comb it, cuddle it, lick it, drown in it.
At one time today, he was so tangled up that when I tried to lift my head he actually lifted as well!
There might be 3 feet of snow on the ground, but the pussy willows tell me spring has finally reached interior Alaska.
Another fun Saturday chase of CBBI. The Hwy 47 shot at Morris was a no-brainer for me. 402 and friends motor east on the rebuilt westbound main past a restored Rock depot.
It would take young Trainboy many more years to finally shoot at this location.

Cherry blossoms are only just beginning to bloom, a month late this year.

I'm more than satisfied with what Anastasia Beloved made out of my boy<3!!!
It has been a long way for Kimey to find the place in my heart he really deserves...now he made it! LOVE♥♥!!!!!!!
After what feels like months (like, since, oh... November) of non-stop rain, we've had a couple of nice afternoons here in Van-city, and actually have a decent forecast for the next week (but who really knows).
Since the weather has been so highly uncooperative for photo pursuits, I've been filling my time with the following:
- I rode my road bike to Squamish and back last weekend with OG. It wasn't nearly as hard as I had thought it was going to be, which is good, becuase I was expecting it to be pretty bad. We wound up riding a little over 130km in a little under 4 hours, with an average speed of ~30km/h (mostly due to the fact that Matt did it on his single speed that's geared for about 30km/h). Our top speed was 72.44km/h :D
- I worked a ton.
- I studied a lot of Japanese. The new teacher for level 2 Japanese is giving us a LOT more homework to do than level 1 did. Plus we have weekly quizes, so I'm probably studying 15-20 hours of Japanese per week.
- I'm starting to finalize the plans for our teams MS Bike tour the weekend of August 13-14. Pledge me here if you want to help fight MS! It's easy, you can do it online, and it's a tax write-off (you get your receipt immediately).
- I discovered Radio Soulwax, a most excellent project by the Soulwax / 2ManyDJs brothers that involves a crazy amount of fun, varied and awesome mixes combined with wild visuals.
- I rejoiced in the wonderful evening we had after work tonight by walking along the seawall from our place in Ambleside down to Dundarave to snap some photos of the most excellent sunset.
My mom finally got to slice into her intensely rich and decadent French Vanilla Butter Cake with Raspberry Filling Vanilla Buttercream Frosting and Bittersweet Ganache. I like that the layers of filling are just as thick as the layers of cake!

After struggling with a steady and strong wind and the deficiencies of my old bike, I was glad to have found this one.

I have seen this guy fly repeatedly, but am not been successful at getting him at all in focus. Will continue trying to do better. Any advice for improvement?
I bring this picture/uploaded it to show a test to see if flickr would let me upload and FINALLY it would!!!!

My girls went mad yesterday when I gave them this fashion pack. It was hard to choose which set was better, but I decided to take this one because it's got two pairs of shoes and I really needed some more. I think the girls are happy, each one has something interesting!:)
The desired look that I knew was there. Manual SS helped. That flower is no longer. Just experimented with developer and film. ID-11 @ 1-3
