Sympathetic spot discovered with Yoann yesterday afternoon accessible to low tide after a small walk on the preceding beach. This range is bordered with very high mangroves trees and the sand covered by places with black leaves. When we arrived, the sun was nearly below the horizon, we had to quickly find elements of composition (while avoiding being bitten by a group of horseflies :-). Rémire-montjoly (French Guiana) on November 20, 2008, road of the beaches to the mouth of the river Mahury.

The facade sculpture “Venus crest” is by sculptor Hubert Minnebo.

It is 11 meters high. The fish represents the sea, the woman represents the earth and the bird represents the sky. The fourth primal element, fire, is missing here figuratively, but is reflected in the material of the artwork, copper, which is born of fire and also symbolizes the sun. It was installed in 2003.

They remind me of a group of dancers huddled together, gossiping about the lone one - HMBT & HMT

This image was taken near the top of Cley Hill in Wiltshire during what was suppose to be a cloud free night. Based on my current knowledge of astrophotography I had placed the milky way in this location, however the next night I would learn that this was not the case.

This image was taken towards the end before I decided to pack up and head home, before then coming back for a sunrise. The clouds covered behind too, which is where the milky way would have been.

I took a chance before heading out as back in 2014 I had capture star trails which I believe had also capture the light pollution from Warminster. This time as it progressively got darker I became increasingly aware of another light pollution area which later I found out to be Westbury.

The following night would prove to be more successful.

Not sure of species for this little jumping spider. She was around 7 mm body length.

She may be tiny, but she is mighty. And with her 8 eyes and almost 360 degrees of vision, a formidable huntress.

Let the new night bring you peace

And the promise of tomorrow,

Where we can wake to a new beginning.

Tomorrow, I'll have only lost their faces-

My friends and family,

Memories of all we had

And the times we should have lived,

And tomorrow America just might fall apart.

tomorrow, tell me,

Where will you wake up?

Beyond title, beyond lease, careers and laws,

Something more than borders on a map...

And the sun's always rising in the sky somewhere,

And if young hearts should explode

From all the lies they've been told...

To live through one night like this,

I would trade it for the silence...
