Cruzar por este puente se ha convertido en un privilegio. Dice National Geografic que es uno de los pocos puentes que hay que cruzar al menos una vez en la vida. Los que tenemos el PRIVILEGIO de pasear sin prisas por él casi todos los días no nos podemos resistir a fotografiarlo y compartirlo al mundo entero. He encontrado aquí sin necesidad de la recomendación de tan excepcional sociedad a viajeros de todo el mundo, que vienen buscando las raíces de la historia .
Aquí tenemos historia desde Tartessos … todos los pueblos que pasaron defendieron la ciudad... tiene duende y así llegamos a la cumbre y no ha sido la caída mas dura .
En las romanas piedras de tu puente
un arcángel destella luz alada,
¡oh silenciosa Córdoba callada,
dormida en el rumor de la corriente!
Esmeraldas de fuego, en tus jardines
bajo el sol que calcina en el estío,
esbeltas torres a la brisa elevas.
Y un fondo de guitarras y violines
tu sierra cantan, tu glorioso río,
lauros de plata que en tu frente llevas."
