Nature Quote of the Day
George Bernard Shaw mentioned and I nodded:)

Rack of lamb ribs, grilled to perfection. Chicken wings, that were finger lickin good.
Grilled spud's cowboy style.

Living in the country, any length of hair on a dog that chases quail, is difficult to maintain. As her hearing has declined, we've thinned down most of the bulk on the ears. Hasn't made a difference.
No tricks, look at the large version View On Black. Texture added for background.

Let the new night bring you peace
And the promise of tomorrow,
Where we can wake to a new beginning.
Tomorrow, I'll have only lost their faces-
My friends and family,
Memories of all we had
And the times we should have lived,
And tomorrow America just might fall apart.
tomorrow, tell me,
Where will you wake up?
Beyond title, beyond lease, careers and laws,
Something more than borders on a map...
And the sun's always rising in the sky somewhere,
And if young hearts should explode
From all the lies they've been told...
To live through one night like this,
I would trade it for the silence...

This was my last picture just before going home.
The light levels dropped a bit and | wanted to grab this moment with the outgoing tide engulfing these rocks, so I upped the ISO to 500 and opened up the aperture to f/7.1 to get an exposure of 190 seconds using my Hitech pro stopper.
I wouldn't have been able to get this shot with my Sigma 10-20 as it would have been too wide rendering the rocks much further away.
I colour corrected the picture first of all but decided to put it back to how it was as I feel the cool blue suits the tranquil feel of the shot.
Taken With
►Nikon D300s
►Nikon 16-85 @42mm
►Hitech Pro Stopper
►Lee 0.9 Hard ND Grad
►Preset WB
►Tripod + Cable Release
►Bulb Mode + Watch
Post Processing
►Corrected slight colour cast
►Corrected Levels
►Added clarity to enhance the rocks
►Boosted contrast slightly
►Spot Removal for some dust bunnies
►Burned the rocks to enhance them further
►Reduced grain due to the high ISO

While out at my favorite spot for my sunset captures, I noticed the store windows had recently been cleaned. I took this reflection of a sunset and myself also. Lol.

this photo got explored! I just got explored twice in a row! wow! Thank you guys!
I 'll be exploring the less visited parts of San Francisco for the next few weeks. Our travel bug didn't stop after we came back from Europe. As I still need to work and save up money for another long trip next year, I could only explore the nearby areas during the weekend. There are pockets of San Francisco that are unique and interesting. I think I am done with Alviso for now. This photo was captured from last weekend when we were in the Mission District. We stopped by a matcha cafe around the corner of this alley. Their desserts were delicious. The whole area is like a melting pot of San Francisco. There is a good vibe to it.

Once,
somebody asked, why photographer loves to take the picture of old, random, abandoned things?
Why?
Those things may aged, damaged, unused, however, they also owned "ever been".
There are people, affair, and life in the "ever been"
A memory couldn't be erase.
There' s a beauty inside.
It's usually depressed people while seeing these things fade in the time.
However, life won't be a one way.
We always encounter another new life at that time.
And there is hope inside.
Love the moment, old v.s. new.

He loves to enjoy sunsets with me ... He loves to spread his little arms, close his eyes, and just breathe ... I love to watch him and capture that unique moment ...
