A camera toss series. I hadn't done any of these in a long time and thought it good to revisit the bare essentials considering it was a camera I had not used for the technique yet. A single white LED provides the light source, exposures vary from .7sec to 2sec. What is produced is essentially an inverted physiogram (inverted in that it illustrates camera motion rather than subject motion) and can tell you alot about the movement possible with a given model of camera.
I also had been meaning to do this simplistic series for a while, because I feel achieving something aesthetically wonderful does not require an overly complicate light source, the beauty is ultimately due to the motion.
All images in this series are directly from my Kodak Easyshare 3.1mp camera, no hotoshop, no cropping or manipulation other than image rotation.

These are my basics - or were, as of Aug 2007.
First, there's Oyin Whipped Pudding. Under that, is Remedi High Protien Concentrate - my light protien treatment of choice.
In the middle are Oyin's Burnt Sugar Pomade - critical for a smooth Lazy Flat Twist.
Behind the BSP there is the pure glycerin.
In front of the BSP there is my lovely bone comb that I use as the final detangling step before brushing.
Next, there is my sprizter bottle for my daily hair spritzes - beside that, showerr caps for all my treatments - it helps me keep them in longer.
Also essential, but not pictured here - my wide toothed shower comb, and Elasta QP Intense Fortifying Conditioner.

Aromatherapy is the treatment or prevention of disease by use of essential oils. Other stated uses include pain and anxiety reduction, enhancement of energy and short-term memory, relaxation, hair loss prevention, and reduction of eczema-induced itching.
Two basic mechanisms are offered to explain the purported effects. One is the influence of aroma on the brain, especially the limbic system through the olfactory system.[ The other is the direct pharmacological effects of the essential oils.[ While precise knowledge of the synergy between the body and aromatic oils is often claimed by aromatherapists, the efficacy of aromatherapy remains unproven. However, some preliminary clinical studies of aromatherapy in combination with other techniques show positive effects. Aromatherapy does not cure conditions, but helps the body to find a natural way to cure itself and improve immune response

OFFF is a cutting-edge festival exploring the latest in digital aesthetics and software language. OFFF festival brings together the artists that are breaking ground and shaping new standards in media and design, becoming the essential meeting point for the international scene of digital creation. OFFF is the only event of this kind.
Since 2001, OFFF festival has been held in Barcelona- Spain, becoming the globally recognized and trendsetting event it is today. This November 2007, OFFF festival will also be held in New York City, at the Tribeca Performing Arts Center.
The three-day festival showcases top digital artists, web, print and interactive designers, motion graphics studios, and new music adventurous. OFFF festival provides insight into all culture media platforms. OFFF dreams about the digital future, and then writes the code for it.
Over 60 international artists meet at OFFF festival. They include legends of graphic design and visual communication such as Neville Brody, Stefan Sagmeister, Tomato and Kyle Cooper; recognized software artists such as Jared Tarbell, and Daniel Brown; explorers of advanced interaction like James Paterson & Amit Pitaru, John Maeda and Craig Swann; innovators of the moving image like We Work For Them, Motion Theory, Buck and Renascent; and the most important names that have defined the aesthetics of the experimental and creative side of the Web: Joshua Davis, Yugo Nakamura, Josh Ulm, Hillman Curtis and Erik Natzke.
These artists come to OFFF not only to share their latest works and techniques, but also to artistically explore in this limit-free environment. OFFF is more than a design conference, a multimedia trade fair, and a digital animation festival -- OFFF is three days for artists to play, work, enjoy, and experiment. They do so while mingling with the audience; thus creating the unique and indescribable gathering that makes OFFF what it is.
