The famous fire station at 1052 W. Waveland Ave., directly across the left field corner of Wrigley Field, was constructed in 1915, just before the Cubs moved into the ballpark.

This photo is from our visit to NASA / Space Center Houston / Johnson Space Center, during our fourth annual Galveston vacation.
It was quite a site to see so many people on the horizon on the race track surface. They were charging down the track where normally Nascar vehicles fly around at nearly a couple hundred miles per hour. The finish line was truly a Kodak moment.
The Engine Control Room (ECR) looks a little like something from a sci-fi film. In total there is over 700km of cabling onboard the Spirit of Britain!
