I had a blown head gasket, so i pulled the engine to make that easier. I had teh transmission rebuilt while the engine was out. I replaced all the suspension bushings, new lowered springs, shocks, and brake rotors.
The Engineer is at the controls of the Paddle Steamer Waverley's triple expansion engine while the Donkeyman records the movements in the log.
Here is the engine compartment the day i bought the car...it is the original 289, bored .030 over .010 crank and main turn, runs good, needs some gaskets and valve seals...
A San Jose woman and several pets were displaced by a fire in San Jose, August 2012. Arriving firefighters reported fire out the second story windows, and before they were done the fire was through the roof.
San Jose Engine 27 serves San Jose's Coyote Valley area. There new rig was formerly Engine 26, it is a 2009 Hi-Tech built pumper on a Spartan Gladiator chassis.
1999 ALF Eagle pumper. Formerly E16 from the Hiltop Station in Oregon City. Now serving as Engine 7 from the Plesant Valley station. Station 7 formerly staffed Squad 7 a two person 2005 Ford F550HD. Engine 7 has been in service since May 2014.
On Sunday October 3rd San Jose Fire Department responded to reports of an appartment complex on fire. The reports came from a team of firefighters who were walking the streets of San Jose promoting an election issue. The off duty firefighters used a gardne hose to do an initial attack on the fire, while evacuating the building and rasing the alarm.
Ultimately the fire went to two alarms, leaving part of the building uninhabitable.
