I really like the counter-sun effect on this, but I think some photoshopping is needed to make the propeller not look stopped, which it does when shutter speeds increase.

I thought this otherwise ordinary flower picture was made more interesting the the addition of a radial blur effect in Photoshop.
A very good morning, and happy Tuesday to everyone! Image from the "Butterfly Effect" at the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory. Hope your day is great!

Mass Effect: Andromeda takes you to the Andromeda galaxy, far beyond the Milky Way. There, you'll lead our fight for a new home in hostile territory - where WE are the aliens.
I cropped this photo even further, after taking it, but I like it for the layers. The foreground is in the lower left and the background is in the upper right, and in between are other layers.

I do not know how I got this strange effect (when viewed large), I did not use any filters on this.

For the new year I have been draganised. There is so much to see and learn in Flickrland and now I have spent all morning doing this. But I saw a dragan effect image and I just had to have one for myself. Refer andrzejdragan.com/ for the real thing.
A displacement map effect on an image of a North Sea Ferry. It's a Marmite effect I know, but I like it!

experimenting with 'aging' effects. i used a film grain effect on a duplicate layer then erased it at opacity 50%, give or take. then i used adjustments>photo colors>deep yellow. it could be improved, yes. but i like the hyper-real quality
And I don’t mean a Photo-Paint or Photoshop effect here.
Last weekend I painted a door (oh, how exiting ;-)). Everything was going smoothly until all of a sudden the paint started to blow bubbles. Yeah, bubbles I say! Well, that was a first……never ever did I see paint do a neat trick like that before. Oh wow……amazing! ;-)
One drawback though, I had to sand and repaint the door all over again :-(
