We were shopping at the Nugget Market in town, and the checkers were discussing how there was a woman in the wine dept. that needed help. None of them felt comfortable enough to go help her, so I said, "I'll do it", and went over and had a nice chat with her. She was looking for a specific bottle, and since it was on sale, it was easy to find.
Anyway, the young checker who came to help was so grateful - he asked Jeff what my favorite dessert was, then ran over to the bakery and boxed up this eclair. He gave it to me and said, "Thanks, Zann, for helping out!"
I love that store. And this town. The eclair is pretty good, too! They make real pastry cream and they don't use the fake stuff that tastes and looks like hair conditioner.

Des éclairs relativement distants sont diffusés au travers des nuages, formant de pâles lueurs. De temps à autre, une trace précise zèbre le ciel, mais je n’ai pas réussi à en capter aucune.
Perhaps the most famous Cuban restaurant in the world, and for good reason. Versailles is an iconic restaurant in Miami, serving amazing Cuban entrees, coffee and baked goods. Im definitely trying the flan next time.

Practicing coffee eclairs for my basic patisserie exam in December.
Eclairs filled with coffee creme patisserie, topped with coffee fondant and decorated with chocolate piping.
Couldn't get a hold of poured fondant so had to use rolled fondant, which isn't shiny but can be melted in the same way.
De nombreux éclairs, mais impossible de les voir directement. Seule leur lumière me parvient à travers les nuages.
Made Éclairs while home for the summer. I'm hopefully going to try to make things pretty frequently before I leave for China. Semi-sweet Chocolate Ganache, with whipped cream as the filling.
