A photo motif I've had in mind for a long time is a Northern Lights over Vestrahorn in bright moonlight, reflected in the smooth waters of Stokksnes Lagoon. So far, every time I've been to this place, something has gone wrong - usually several factors at once. It was cloudy, there were no northern lights, there was no water in the lagoon, the water was too winded, the night was moonless and dark.
Now a solar storm was announced and the night should be clear and windless in East Iceland. When I arrived I couldn't believe my luck: the lagoon actually lay there like a mirror! The spectacle also started relatively soon after my arrival, first everywhere - in the east and in the west, later even in the south and then the lights came straight down from above. An unbelievable spectacle, only above the Vestrahorn there were no northern lights. But after a few hours of taking pictures and being amazed, the lights finally danced where I wanted them to be.

During this trip to Alaska we were transported by boat to one of the smaller fjords of Glacier Bay. Here the cruise ships did not come through. The forest was so thick that it was impossible to bushwhack your way for more than a few feet in any direction. We set up camp at this spot and began to explore the various inlets via kayak. The nearby glacier, hidden waterfalls, floating towers/icebergs, the curious seals, the cry of the seagulls, smell of salt in the air and the pleasure of gliding through the scene on Kayaks so silent, as if it was all a dream that one could wake up from anytime. When I look back on my life, I will remember this day fondly as one truly well lived, but at the same time cannot help but wonder was it all a dream.

I couldn't get enough of these beautiful clouds and serene blue layers!

A dream of a weekend. Yesterday was a solo mission to my fave spot and this morning found us at Longshaw for a footy mooch and a quick breakfast n the cafe.
This one from yesterday and the pick of about 5 contenders.
Worked best in mono as is the case at this time of year and in such conditions.

Dreams of the Ocean's Sunset

My dreamed sunrise in the Delta of the river Ebro -Tarragona-.
The previous day, a local man explained to me a perfect location for enjoy the photograph of this beautiful land.
I consulted the parameters that night and everything was correct to travel there.
The truth is that I was impressed to get to that place, I put on my waders running to get me asap and do not lose the time.
The sun had not yet risen, the water reached my waist, good temperature, soft wind, a lot of clouds and fog surrounding the horizon, made the conditions were the best.
Many photos I've seen of this place is that in photoshop blur the horizon line with the clone tool, but there was fog and with long exposure, completely erased.
It seemed that I was doing a photo shoot in the same heaven.
I think for many more times to return to this place, I can never find anything so perfect.
This is the photo shoot I most enjoyed in recent years, have a set of at least seven impressive images.
On the technical side, say that I only used a neutral gradient three steps filter.
