As the waves rush in, the light burns through the clouds illuminating the choral cloud arrangement. The music of the ocean carries the waves and sends tingling notes rippling over my feet. With the drama unfolding, I find myself getting lost in dark rhythms.

I've tried to edit this photo from 2017 numerous times, always ending in a bit of frustration as I wanted to blend the tree with a long exposure of the water. Today, I got a lot closer to the photo I've always dreamed it would be.

I shot the first frame using my Nikon TW 105 Zoom compact camera, and the second frame using my Minolta 505si Super SLR and 50mm f2.8 macro lens. Kodak Expired (2007) EliteCrome Extracolor 100 iso slide film.
