The upper superstructure of the cruise ship Carnival Dream under azure skies in the Port of Galveston, Texas.
It was sunset time at Gunstock Mountain. Temperature was very low (wind chill below 0 degree F) that I could not exposure my hands very long. Looking at the sunset, I felt and dreamed of the warmth.

Dream or reality...sometimes it seems like we're living in a dream, but reality comes back to forcefully present us with all the daily problems...from which we often want to escape by taking refuge in dreams...which sometimes seem strange and difficult to understand.

Morning Poem
Every morning
the world
is created.
Under the orange
sticks of the sun

The foreground is an older picture taken in a Forró- Class (Brazilian social dancing). I managed to sneak up on our instructors and take a quick picture!
I wanted to do something with that photo for quite some time and when I needed a birthday gift for one of them I finally had an excuse to spend some time. Unfortunately the background of the original picture was not exactly suited for free-form-selection.
I found the background picture on some open source wallpaper website and I think both parts work quite well together!

By 3am the rain had stopped and the sky was mainly clear. I had my tripod set up for the composition I wanted, and made an exposure for the foreground just after sunset. The Milky Way was photographed using a separate exposure, shot between 3 and 4am.

As many people say dreams make your life better . Dreams inspire you to do things . Well , I too believe in dreams . Dreams make me see the world in a better way , most importantly my way :) . Sometimes many of your dreams can come true and can make you both happy and sad . I have seen many of my dreams come true and I'm sure you know how good it feels when a long cherished dream becomes real . I've a dream of doing something that would make people remember me . I have a dream to get to the top of the world and see the stars fade as the night comes to an end and to see the sun peeking through the horizon illuminating the whole world and giving its people the hope of another day . I will keep dreaming and dreaming until my last breath . Don't give up on your dreams , cherish them and maybe someday even your most impossible dream might come true :)

The magnificent forest surrounding the Bugnons pond in Switzerland, in the canton of Fribourg, district of Gruyère, is a place where I like to come and take photos in all seasons.
This picture was merged from 3 shots taken from the tripod with the 75mm lens. In the afternoon, the sea of clouds was quickly formed. That was exactly my expectation and, given the uncertainities of weather forecast, a reason fot the title of the picture.
From left to right we can see the chain of Karwendel and Wetterstein at the horizon. The Tegernsee mountains, which belong to Mangfallgebirge, are nearer at the right.
After merging in Lightroom, the sky was masked in order to be able to edit it separately and optimize contrast and colour balance for both sky and mountain landscape independently.
Dreams are the inner voice of your spirit and soul. Guard them, protect them and whenever you can - live them.
