Beauty rest for a real beauty! These big cats rest up to 20 hours a day, according to source. With their food being thrown to them daily, I guess captive lions must sleep a bit more?

I was able to take several shots of the camaro sitting in the parking lot....my hubby was incredible! I spied her, he whipped a U turn and parked so I could get out and drool. Suddenly an Asian lady pops out of a door I had not seen and says "Charge money for taking pictures!"...am not sure if she was serious, but since she didn't chase me away or insist on payment, I took only a couple and we left. Out of the ones I did take, this happens to be my favorite. It symbolizes so much and to me it is one of those photos that is worth a thousand words...might only be a personal thing, but sometimes that is all that matters.

Metro-Detroit Car Show Event that takes place once a year since 1995 and runs from The City of Ferndale to the City of Pontiac. The Cruise covers about a 16 mile stretch of Woodward Ave.

So i finally got to go thrifting on Monday after my dentist appointment. Because what can make a Monday with a dentist appointment better? Shopping! I went to a near by goodwill and found some good stuff, including this awesome skirt. yeah!!

Jan 1 in 2012. I have a friend who has been staying with me for the last 2 weeks and I have seen very little of. I guess the the city has lots of things to offer.
Today we are at Stardust Dinner. The waiters and waitress sing to the customers.
In the middle of dinner there was a speech.
Like in church they passed a bucket to collect money and then said something on this effect.
We are all trying to make it to Broadway and when we are not here we are in auditions, writing our own stuff or taking classes. The money that is in that bucket will be used to continue our education because next year none of us want to be here.
I wonder if I been awake to long that I have forgotten how to dream. I am looking for the moment in which to test if I can fly. :)
