Racing to and fro
Making plans for who
I do know
Faking it with the beautiful peopld
Float in a world full of illusions
My third eye opens more and more
As I enter each open door
On the floor of optimism
In the backseat of negativism
Waking many times
Checking in on other dimensions
Reporting the accuracy
Just like you just like me
Running away
On a night like this
Infinity and beyond the world of chaos
Packing my bags on high vibrations
Taking a stand for womankind
Taking a stand for alienkind
Keeping the heart wide open
Sleep and dream of better days
Ending all dramatical plays
Day in day out
Without any doubts
You shook my world
To infinity and beyond
I woke up with a bit of frizz this morning, and after being out all day in the fresh air + some wind, I had more frizziness... quick messy bun to the rescue.
"dreadlock don't want to give me time of day." i just thought of something while looking at this photo. i don't know where i was, but one day i walked past this older weird guy and as i approached him he said, "dreadlock." i thought nothing of it and kept going. when i passed him he said, "dreadlock don't want to give me time of day" in a heavy jamacian accent.
No, not citrus peel... inspired by some of the colours in Peel station of the Montreal metro! :-)
Speaking of Montreal... I would kill right now for a real Montreal bagel. Wood ovens, hot fresh bagels, cream cheese... *sighs* The perfect breakfast!

Radio Paradise plays a good amount of reggae, but we don't have enough photos of Jamaica or Rastafarians. I had to adapt this great shot by Trevor Cameron by mirroring the left side. Then I went in and shopped out a few elements, so the mirroring itself wasn't so distracting. I like the results; it reminds me of the "Find the Objects in the Picture" puzzles that I play with my grandson.
Oh, and I flipped it. Since the RP logo, song title and player controls are on the left side, it helps to put the figure of interest on the right.
This hardy little horse has iceicles for dreads and its -19 C and you can see the ice on the windows
This is the way my hair looked immediately before I sectioned it for backcombing. I'd forgotten how long it was!
One of the enduring joys I get from my hair being like this is that I can roll out of bed in the morning and not need to deal with it.
When the sun goes down
My mind enters a sacred space
A special time and special place
You and I connect within and without
We see life's struggles with few doubts
When I rush you slow the motion
Love is the very potion you serve to me
Time is a state of mind
You are so very kind
In your words
We look at beautiful birds
Flying to and fro
We both know
We must take our time
For our love to be so sublime
This is after a little crocheting. I do not have the patience to sit and work on each dread! I just did some really wild ones :)
