So two years worth of growth achieved and I'm pretty happy with the progress, wisps and all. I also made the decision to let my fringe grow out as it's something that I've been pondering on over the last few months. I was getting fed up of trimming it and it seems somehow right that if I'm letting my hair do it's own thing, then that should include the fringe too. It's already falling into sections but is probably a little short to start locking up yet.

Dug out some seed beads, thread and a beading needle to have a go at making a peyote stitch dread sleeve. Doesn't take too long and quite easy to do. My other dread decoration is a circular fragment of a gastropod shell I found washed up on Cresswell Beach the other day.
It looks like I have a massive spider sitting on my head waving its legs. I also think I'm going to stick with this colour for a while.
