"We want to be free... Free to ride our machines without being hassled by the man!" It started out with old classics and lowriders and Harleys converging on the bridge and a car show broke out. Then some knuckle head brought unnecessary attention to the whole thing by lighting a smoke canister / bomb. From the distance I guess it looked as if some one was doing a burn out. The L.A.P.D. comes and breaks up the show. But as the photos prove the SHOW still went on.... UNDER THE BRIDGE.

It was the first week of school after summer and some knuckle heads do a drive by on a group of teens walking down the street across from Crenshaw High. Two were hit but thankfully no one was killed.

The cowardly perpetrators that shot this young man don't need a reason.... Pay back.... mistaken identity.... wearing the wrong colors.... walking by your self..... walking in a group.....maybe he looked like a rival... so lets just Blast him any way..... what you looking at?..... hey lets not forget the young deaf woman and young deaf man that were gunned down when they were signing one another because the dumb ass thug thought they were throwing up gang signs. Our justice system is too slow, we need to execute these cold blooded murderers, execute them even if their victim lives so they can't contaminate the rest of the planet, OHH I'm sorry did I say something politically incorrect? Ask me if I care.

Wishing on a Star is a Eco-kinetic solar sculpture created by Charles Dickson out of his Compton art studio. He was my art teacher back in the day when I was a teen attending his classes in Watts and Compton. This beautiful work is made with many discarded items from engine and automotive suspension parts to rebar and computer and kitchen utensils and other scrap metal and glass.

In Los Angeles the Hall of Justice was the centerpiece of the Los Angeles County justice system until it was damaged in the Northridge earthquake. The historic 1926 building was featured on television shows including Dragnet, Perry Mason and Get Smart. More significantly, it was the home of Los Angeles County courts, the Los Angeles County Coroner, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office, and the Los Angeles County District Attorney, and was for many years the primary Los Angeles County jail.

Notable residents of the Hall of Justice included Charles Manson, Sirhan Sirhan and Shorty Rossi, star of the Animal Planet show Pit Boss. Autopsies performed at the Hall of Justice include those of actress Marilyn Monroe and the assassinated presidential candidate and former United States Attorney General Robert Kennedy.

While the Hall of Justice was closed shortly after the 1994 Northridge earthquake, it is currently being restored and is scheduled to re-open as the Sheriff's and District Attorney's Headquarters in 2014. It was used as a filming location for the 1997 Clint Eastwood movie Absolute Power, as the Washington DC police headquarters.

Edmund Lincoln "Eddie" Anderson (1905 – 1977), aka Eddie "Rochester" Anderson, was a Black American comedian and actor.

Anderson got his start in show business In the early 1930s. In '37, he began his most famous role as Rochester van Jones, usually just "Rochester", as the valet of Jack Benny, on his radio show & later TV show The Jack Benny Program also appeared in in movies and other TV shows.

His home in the West Adams district of Los Angeles was one of the few places in L.A. where he could have a home built because even L. A. black entertainers were not welcome in white neighborhoods due to restrictive covenants. He called on Black American architect, Paul R. Williams to designed his new massive home that sat in an area surrounded by smaller, bungalow-style homes. He also had a pool so the neighbors and their kids could play and swim in the pool. The home is currently a Bed & Breakfast.

A fire broke out early Friday morning (4/26/13) about 2 am at the Bethesda Temple Apostolic Church in the Windsor Hills / Leimert Park area on the 4900 block of Crenshaw Blvd. Residence near by said they heard an explosion. It took 80 firefighters a little under an hour to put the fire out. The main building was completely gutted by the fire. The south wing of the church facility and Bethesda Senior apartments/home next door suffered little or no damage. LAFD Arson Investigators, FBI and the ATF are still looking into the cause, but fire officials say the fire does not appear to be criminal in nature, and there are no signs of foul play at this time. 7 months earlier I was just two blocks east and got pictures of another church fire in the HYDE PARK area at 11th Ave. & 48th st. Galilee Baptist Church was completely gutted by a fire. I still can't get a clear answer as to what caused that fire. If anyone knows for certain please leave a comment.

Well the show is over and everybody took off. Some went to cruise nite meet and greets others went on home or to grab late nite grub.

Burden had Metropolis II's cars specially manufactured in China to his custom specifications — unlike Metropolis I, which just used off-the-shelf Hot Wheels toys. "The original toy cars have very thin axles that wear out too fast," says Burden. Given that Metropolis II is supposed to run three days a week for the next 10 years, how will it avoid the "wearing out" problem? Burden's no-nonsense answer: "We made a lot of cars."

Un-fucking-believable. So Tuesday my hard drive fails taking a years worth of photos and today some fucker breaks into my locker at the gym and steals my (mostly empty) wallet.

Can the week get ANY worse?

So, to sum up: Josh Edwards, who drives a royal blue expedition with the licenses plate 272 VDS - you are a complete and utter motherfucker, a worthless waste of humanity, and I hope you choke on a flaming bag of shit and DIE.

***ADDENDUM***

It seems that the police are closing in on Josh, bringing him to a line-up in front of a some witnesses. So hopefuly the dragnet snares him and lands this bastard.
