The idea sprang to mind after a couple of girls (I suspect escaped from somewhere) cornered and questioned Me like Detective Friday from Dragnet. Thanks for the idea, ladies.

A commercial crab-fishing boat pulling a smaller boat up the Steveston Channel past Garry Point Park.

Garry Point Park is large 75 acres waterfront park, located close to historic Steveston Village.

The park provides spectacular views of the South Arm of the Fraser River and the Gulf Islands. With plenty of beach and waterfront access, just bring your beach blanket, a picnic dinner and enjoy yourself at one of the BEST places to watch the sunset in Richmond.

The unique rolling landscape of Garry Point includes such features as Kuno Garden - a Japanese style memorial garden, beached logs and sandy beach access, expansive open areas for picnicking and kite flying, interpretation signage dots the landscape and a prominent public art piece - the Fisherman's Memorial Needle on the south side of the park. Additional heritage aspects in the park include a heritage moorage facility with buildings and docks at historic Scotch Pond.

Crossroads of the World has been called America's first outdoor shopping mall. Located on Sunset Boulevard and Las Palmas in Los Angeles, the mall features a central building designed to resemble an ocean liner surrounded by a small village of cottage-style bungalows. It was designed by Robert V. Derrah and built in 1936. The room on the second floor is supposed to be a semblance of the Wheel House or control room for the ship. Once a busy shopping center, the Crossroads now hosts private offices, primarily for the entertainment industry. It has been used for location shooting in many films, including L.A. Confidential, The Adventures of Ford Fairlane, and Café Society, in TV shows, including Dragnet and Remington Steele, and in commercials by McDonald's, Ford, and Mattel. A reproduction of Crossroads' iconic tower and spinning globe can be seen just inside the entrance to Disney's Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World in Florida.

It was the first week of school after summer and some knuckle heads do a drive by on a group of teens walking down the street across from Crenshaw High. Two were hit but thankfully no one was killed.

The cowardly perpetrators that shot this young man don't need a reason.... Pay back.... mistaken identity.... wearing the wrong colors.... walking by your self..... walking in a group.....maybe he looked like a rival... so lets just Blast him any way..... what you looking at?..... hey lets not forget the young deaf woman and young deaf man that were gunned down when they were signing one another because the dumb ass thug thought they were throwing up gang signs. Our justice system is too slow, we need to execute these cold blooded murderers, execute them even if their victim lives so they can't contaminate the rest of the planet, OHH I'm sorry did I say something politically incorrect? Ask me if I care.

All at once you lost your first name. You're a cop, a flatfoot, a bull, a dick, John Law. You're the fuzz, the heat; you're poison, you're trouble, you're bad news. They call you everything, but never a policeman. Quotes from Dragnet

The word is someone has a deathwish and shot at a patroling L. A. County Sheriff's car off of Crenshaw on some side street. Don't know the rest of the story. LAPD & L.A. Unified School Dist. Police gave back up.

Do you have real adventure in your soul? You better have, because you're gonna do time in a prowl car. Oh, it's going to be a thrill a minute when you get an unknown-trouble call and hit a backyard at two in the morning, never knowing who you'll meet-- a kid with a knife, a Crack-head with a gun, or two ex-cons with nothing to lose.

That's the end of the old photos. Better take some new ones, hey?

Ah, sure, but just like every other foaming, rabid psycho in this city with a foolproof plan, you've forgotten you're facing the single finest fighting force ever assembled. Dragnet 1987

Not a political statement just a math problem. No matter what city , no matter what the crisis is, there is never enough police to protect and serve. Arm yourself. I mean no disrespect but I have witnessed the police leave when out numbered. Where does that leave the gun-less ?........HELPLESS

Un autre poème, tout droit sorti de mon émoi...

Pour toi ma muse...Merci de toi...

Petite Lune, si douce et mystérieuse…

Astre de mes rêves,

Astre de mes nuits…

Tu me fais rêver,

Tu me fais voler…

Paillettes de rêves,

Ta traîne d’étoiles,

Comme une pluie de plumes,

Vient se poser sur ma peau nue..

Et d’une douce caresse,

Me redonne joie et allégresse…

Ta lueur me fait frissonner,

Tes mots m’envoler…

Mon astre, ma Lune,

Mon doux rêve…

Je ferme les yeux sentant ton regard sur moi…

Et je m’envole vers toi…

Kelty

Je le met ici en anglais désolé pour la traduction plus qu'hasardeuse...

Another poem, just taken from my emotion...

For you my muse... Thank you for you...

The small Moon, so soft and mysterious …

Celestial body of my dreams,

Celestial body of my nights …

Kept silent make me dream,

You make me fly …

Glitter of dreams,

Your dragnet of stars,

As a rain of feathers,

Comes to settle(arise) on my naked skin..

And of a soft caress,

Mrs restores enjoyment and enjoyment …

Your light makes me shiver,

Your words to fly away to me …

My celestial body, my Moon,

My soft dream …

I close eyes feeling your glance on me …

And I fly away towards you …

Kelty

Close the city and tell the people that something's coming to call

Death and darkness are rushing forward to take a bite from the wall, oh

You've nothing to say

They're breaking away

If you listen to fools...

The Mob Rules

The Mob Rules

Kill the spirit and you'll be blinded, the end is always the same

Play with fire, you burn your fingers and lose your hold of the flame, oh

It's over, it's done

the end is begun

If you listen to fools...

The Mob Rules

You've nothing to say

Oh, They're breaking away

If you listen to fools...

Break the circle and stop the movement, the wheel is thrown to the ground

Just remember it might start rolling and take you right back around

You're all fools!

The Mob Rules!

The sacred fire was a flame that was kept continuously burning in the council house of each village, and was used to light all household fire. On October 1, 1838, minus the few hundred members of the Ridge-Watie Treaty party that had already departed for Indian Territory, the Cherokee council met at Red Clay for one final time before the Trail of Tears begun.

While most of the Cherokee Nation was forcibly removed to what is now Oklahoma, a few hundred Cherokee managed to avoid the dragnets of the federal and state forces and flee into the wilderness, eventually forming the Eastern Band of the Cherokee. In 1951, members of the Eastern Band decided to retrace the Trail of Tears, eventually returning from Oklahoma with a flame (in a bucket filled with charcoal) taken from the new Sacred Flame. In 1984, the first joint secession of the Oklahoma and Eastern bands of the Cherokee in 146 years was held at Red Clay, where this eternal flame was created, using the same fire as the 1951 flame.

Despite the obvious presence of a popular Volkswagen vehicle adjacent to a big yellow sign with the letter 'T' on it I have resisted the temptation to go-to-town and unleash a stream of golf-related puns, clever wordplay and tortured metaphors as all previous such babbling expeditions have been met with a silent wall of crushing indifference, so sadly I have decided to take the advice of LAPD detective Joe Friday from iconic 1950s American TV show "Dragnet" and stick to "just the facts, ma'am, just the facts".

Shame, and a wave from the Driver would have been nice, or from the Putter, the Wedge or the Iron - Damn, I just couldn't leave it alone!

Joe Friday is a fictional detective sergeant in the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and the lead character in the Dragnet series. The character first appeared in the 1949 premiere of the NBC radio drama Dragnet. Jack Webb created and portrayed the character, who became the prototypical hard-boiled detective. Dan Aykroyd also played Joe Friday in Dragnet. The Dragnet series was based on the files of the LAPD.
