RACE: Are We So Different? brings together the everyday experience of living with race, its history as an idea, the role of science in that history, and the findings of contemporary science that are challenging its foundations. Interactive exhibit components, historical artifacts, iconic objects, compelling photographs, multimedia presentations, and graphic displays offer an eye-opening look at race.

Sometimes you're just on your way there and they're already on their way back or you're on your way back and they're just on their way.
Some may prefer to take it slow. Some may walk alone. Some may choose to take a rest to witness others pass by. But whatever path we choose, one thing's for sure. We're all walking for life.

I went to Luneta Park last Sunday with a special friend for a photowalk. We didn't have any concept in mind. With a lot of people and all being too conscious/unnatural when photographed, i decided to take pictures of patterns/textures using my 50mm f1.8 lens. This eventually led us to an inspiring concept.
We'll take photos of people's feet/legs while they were walking. Different people, doing different activities. A different perspective on photographing people. it was probably my most enjoyable photowalk. People were curious with what we were doing. Since we didn't have to look at the viewfinder whenever taking pictures, i did not feel much tired.
Anyway, i hope you enjoy this series. I'll post a picture on how we took pictures if you guys are interested. Hehe. Have a great weekend everyone! :)
I wanted to try portraiture more--my work has been mostly aviation for a few months now...it's time to get back into a more subtle realm.
I went birdwatching at Victory Bog in Victory, Vermont yesterday. This was my first bird watching adventure and I captured three different birds seen in this set: a warbler, kingfisher and yellow-bellied sapsucker.

Tried to cover lots of different events although I missed some, hard to get good photos when the subject matter is jumping / running / throwing all over the place lol. And the hammer net does not help photographs. And it was wet and cold. Well done all the athletes and volenteers.
A craft apron I made to match my crochet hook case. Came out better than the case did!! I can use it when I'm sewing or patternmaking. I plan on some more Disney cosplay eventually, so here's to having a matching apron!!
