We arrived by train at Wymondham, and met my parents and their two border collies. we walked our dogs together around the Lizard Common. Wolfy loves the company of other dogs - but border collies act wierd. They like playing sheepdog - crouching in the grass and running after a thrown toy kong. The two collies are crouched in the long grass behind wolfy - can you see them?

Eden Project Cornwall, UK

Grimshaw Architects - Dominic Cole Landscape Architects

The Eden Project is the largest botanical garden in the world. It is a scientific experiment which uses a highly innovative technology to create different climates. Combines ecology, horticulture, science, art and architecture, offering an informative and enjoyable experience while promoting ways to maintain a sustainable future depends on plants and trees. The exhibition includes more than one hundred thousand plants representing 5,000 species from many of the world’s climate zones.

The project was conceived by Tim Smit and designed by the English architect Nicholas Grimshaw and engineering firm Anthony Hunt and Associates. The challenge for this project was to design buildings that provide the environment to create different microclimates. The building opened its doors to the public in March 2001 with the first two phases built. The Eden Project covers 15 hectares of land located in an old clay quarry in St. Austell, Cornwall, UK.

The Humid Tropics Biome is the largest glasshouse in the world, covering 1.56 hectares. It measures 55 meters high, 100 meters wide and 200 long. Here is kept moist climate and dense rainforest, with orchards of bananas, coffee, rubber and bamboo, among others.

The smaller biome retains the warm temperate and arid areas, between 30 and 40 degrees latitude. It covers 0.65 hectares, 35 meters high, 65 wide and 135 meters long. Among the species that are home to vineyards and olives.

A third ecosystem, similar to Britain, is on display outdoors in the gardens surrounding the domes, with plants such as tea, lavender, hops and hemp. The exact location of the biomes on the site was determined by a sophisticated technique that shows where to get more sunlight each gain structure.

The Eden Foundation is the phase 3, which opened in 2003. The Core is part of the fourth phase of development. Eden Project provides an education facility, incorporating classrooms and exhibition spaces. Within the master plan for the whole site contemplating future ambitions, included the design of the access road project.

Polyaluminium chloride(PAC) is a kind of water purification materials, inorganic polymer coagulant. According to its form, it can be classified as: solid and liquid form. The solid form has the yellow or dark yellow color, dark brown, dark gray resin-like color. The liquid presented as a colorless, transparent, slightly yellow, light yellow to brown color. PAC in the application of different colors and production technology also has difference a kind of highly effective water purification, which is wildly used in the purification of drinking water, industry water, industry circulation water and wasted and polluted water from pharmacy industry, paper making industry and printing and dying industry, as well as life wasted water.

PAC Powder Polyaluminium Chloride for Municipal Sewage Treatment

Polyaluminum chloride is a water purification material, an inorganic polymer coagulant, and a polymer with a relatively large molecular weight and a relatively high charge of inorganic polymer produced by the bridge action of hydroxyl ions and the polymerization of polyvalent anions. Pharmacy. In form, it can be divided into two kinds: solid and liquid. The solids are divided into brown, beige, golden yellow and white according to different colors, and the liquid can be represented as colorless, transparent, yellowish, light yellow to yellow-brown.

The polyaluminum chloride having a content of aluminum oxide between 27 and 30 is mostly khaki-yellow yellow solid powder. These types of polyaluminum chlorides have relatively good water solubility, and in the course of dissolution, physicochemical changes such as electrochemical, agglomeration, adsorption, and precipitation eventually lead to [Al2(OH)3(OH)3] precipitation, thereby achieving the purpose of purification. In the use of polyaluminum chloride, without the need for other additives, floe formation is fast and thick, high activity, rapid precipitation, and a clear effect on high turbidity water purification.

The raw material of the yellow polyaluminum chloride is calcium aluminate powder, hydrochloric acid, bauxite, mainly used for sewage treatment and drinking water treatment, if the raw material for drinking water treatment is aluminum hydroxide powder, hydrochloric acid, and slightly calcium aluminate Powder, plate and frame pressure filtration processes or spray drying processes have strict requirements on heavy metals in the drinking water treatment countries, so both raw materials and production processes are better than tan PACs.

The raw materials for the tan aluminum polyaluminum chloride are calcium aluminate powder, hydrochloric acid, bauxite and iron powder. It is mainly used for sewage treatment because it contains iron powder so the color is tan. The more iron powder is added, the darker it is. If the iron powder exceeds a certain amount, it is sometimes called polyaluminum chloride iron. , has excellent results in the treatment of sewage.

Concentration ratio method:

1. According to the situation of raw water, do a small test before using to obtain the best dose. Small test solution configuration by weight ratio (W / W), generally 2-5% with good. Assembled with 3% solution: said polyaluminum chloride PAC solid 3g, into a 200ml measuring cylinder, add about 50ml of water, to be dissolved and then diluted with water to 100ml scale, shake it.

2. When producing polyaluminum chloride PAC for production, mix and dissolve according to polyaluminum chloride PAC solid: water=1:9 to 1:15 weight ratio. Solutions with a content of alumina less than 1% are prone to hydrolysis and can reduce the effect of use. Concentrations are too high to be easily added evenly.

3. Dosing according to the best dosing amount obtained by small test. For example, if sedimentation tanks are found to be less, if there are large amounts of turbidity, the dosage will be too small. If the sedimentation tank is large and upturned and the remaining turbidity is high, the amount of dosing is too large and adjustments should be made.

Polyaluminium chloride use method:

After the solid product is dissolved in water at 1:3, it is used as a liquid, diluted with 10-30 times of fresh water to a desired concentration. The optimal PH value for the dosing is 3.5-5.0, and the best PH value is added to maximize the benefits of coagulation. The dosage can be determined according to the different turbidity of the raw water, and the best dosage is determined. When the raw water turbidity is 100-500mg/L, the dosage per kiloton is 10-20kg. When the turbidity of the raw water is high, the dosage is appropriately increased, and when the turbidity is low, the dosage can be appropriately reduced.

The dosage of polyaluminum chloride in different water quality:

First, in low turbidity water, the solid polyaluminum chloride product is diluted 1:3 (weight ratio) plus tap water and stirred until completely dissolved.

Second, in the life and production use of sewage, with reference to each ton of sewage before adding about 30g of polyaluminum chloride products. Then add the diluted polyacrylamide product (if the effect is not obvious, please reduce or increase the product dosage as appropriate).

This is another species from Mt Marlay. Made from a stack of 25 raw photos. I presumed it was another Rutilia but different from its neighbour; note the lack of bristles on tergites 2 and 3 and the dark markings at the wing base. Bryan Cantrell says it is not a Rutilia but possibly a Prodiaphania species.

"Preda Ringadora"

Where is the most fascinating place you’ve been? For starters, the postcard I chose is a Custer State Park postcard because it has a beautiful array of landscaping with over 73,000 acres. The postcard shows all the different aspects of Custer State Park. It doesn’t really show a lot of people doing things but it does show the beauty of the nature in the park. It also has animals, lakes, and huge rock formations. The postcard has many different aspects but the main thing they’re trying to do is to lure/invite you to come see everything Custer State Park has to offer.

First, the postcard could really appeal to anyone. On one of the smaller lake pictures there is a person on a boat, and that could appeal to people who like to fish, canoe, or just spend a lazy day on the lake. It could also appeal to children because in a different, small picture it shows a mountain goat. I think a lot of kids would think it was pretty cool if they saw that. In addition to children liking the animals, it could also appeal to animal lovers. The postcard would definitely appeal to nature enthusiasts. For example, you could hike or bike in different areas of Custer. The large rock formations in the lower right and upper left hand corner indicate a rock climbers dream.

Secondly, they make it a point to put the name of Custer on the postcard in all capital letters. This emphasizes the fact that it’s this specific state park and adds significance to its unique features. They also put Custer in green to remind you of nature. The border being blue just goes along with the blue skies you’ll see when you’re there. They show the buffalo roaming and Custer State Park is one of the only state parks in the U.S. that still have free roaming buffalo. People go to Custer for nature, usually not to shop or eat.

Next, one of the most important details in the postcard to me would be the fact that I don’t see any roads. It gives you the illusion that you’re one with nature. It also makes me think there isn’t really any pollution, and the air is clean. Another important detail would be the fading out of some of the pictures. To me that signifies nature’s ever constant flow. Even when no one is there to enjoy it, the trees still change color, and the animals still roam around. There are some daisies and sunflowers in the picture that may represent spring in Custer State Park. They may indicate that this could be the state flower but after a quick search on Google, neither one is. The mirror-like image of the rock formations on the lake in the lower left hand corner reflects the beauty of nature on a clear sunny day.

Lastly, the person who composed the postcard seems to give the viewer peaceful thoughts of the nature that they’ll see. Their intentions are to show you some of the sights you can see, and all the amazing views. It makes you want to go to Custer State Park to explore and to simply get some fresh air. The postcard also gives you a glimpse of the things you can do. On the back of the postcard it mentions favorite outdoor activities people like to do at Custer; things you can do include rock climbing, hiking, mountain biking, or just hoping in a jeep for a ride close up to the buffalo. The postcard seems to show pictures of Custer in its prime season. A reason the artist may have done this is because although it may be beautiful in the winter, Custer may not be the easiest place to get around. The lakes would be frozen and there would be a lot of snow around. The artist of this postcard is obviously a nature lover and seems to like physical activity.

Custer State Park is a place that people of all ages can enjoy. Animal, nature, or fitness lovers can all find something to do here. The small pictures in the postcard show beautiful scenery that would be any photographers dream. There are many different aspects of Custer State Park to explore and looking at this postcard it appears to be one great big adventure going there. The amazing views and sights to see are the main attraction portrayed in the postcard. What would it be like to see a buffalo two feet away?
