"Castrum Wusterhuse" aus dem 14. Jhd.
Lieblingsschloss des "Soldatenkönigs" Friedrich I. In KaWe jagte er ausgiebig, träumte von Ausbau und Einsatz der Langen Kerls und berief täglich das Tabakskollegium ein. Im Herbst leistete seine Familie ihm hier Gesellschaft - eine Zeit, an die Friedrich II. mit Grausen zurückdenken wird. Glückliche Tage für den Vater, dunkle Erinnerungen für den Sohn. Selbe Kulisse.

Spot kingfishers, deer and roe deer, or bear witness to the wide variety of insects and water creatures in the fens and ditches. And after an exhilarating day of activity or sport, head to one of the large terraces to enjoy the peace and quiet and a tasty snack, lunch or dinner.Oisterwijk's Forests & Fens Groot Speijck Visitor Centre has a great terrace, as does Boshuis Venkraai. And both are ideal places to relax and soak up the surroundings.

My attempt at something different and linear/artistic.....
This was taken a while ago when I was testing a new lens in Providence, RI. I found these unusual shaped cutouts on a metal plate on a bridge overlooking the downtown skyline. I tried different shots both the skyline in focus and out of focus and I opted for this one since the light was flat and uninteresting.
Hi folks, sorry for my absence but had a visit from my son and his wife, so a little busy, but was a joy to see them and to spend some time after not see them for so so long. What I think folks from my heart, is that all the pills and medication you take, the children make the difference in your recovery.

Interesting how we can go back to the same place time and again, and it can look so very different. Back to our reservoir, at a different time, a different season, a different set up, a different angle and what is the result? It looks different.
Every autumn I enjoy walking around with my camera looking at the fall colours. Leaves change colour in the fall, because of changes in the length of daylight and changes in temperature at night. Small leaves from a tree or bush which have the mixture of red, pink, purple, orange and yellow colours grabbed my attention. Because of being different is great, but it is hard. People know that.

Just came inside after taking about 20 shots of the dragonfly on different Waterlilies.
My Granddaughter always asks me how does it feel having dragonfly land on your fingers? my answer is, it tickles:-)

A very unusual plant , which I bought initially for it's interesting foliage, and unusual name. The flowers grow at the base of the plant underneath the leaves and are so different to any other flower I have seen. The face isn't very evident, and I assume it gets it's common name from someone having a vivid imagination.
