Two artists, one shared language – printmaking – and two different, original, deeply personal paths. Anna Berrino and Michela Mascarucci were the protagonists of the next RUFA Talk curated by Maria Pina Bentivenga, focused on the many different approaches to engraving and printmaking.
“Different ways in printmaking” is meant to be a moment of dialogue and exchange between two perspectives that, while sharing the same medium, express themselves through distinct methods and sensibilities. An encounter designed to open up new insights into the endless possibilities of printmaking, aimed at students, enthusiasts, and contemporary art lovers.

Today Mum and headed up to Fir Tree Farm to visit Jane and Eric. Sadly their lovely English Setter, Poppy, was taken ill and died last week, so we thought it would be nice to spend a little time with them.
We had a delicious lunch in the White Bear in Masham, before heading back up to the farm to see the horses. Eric took me for a quick spin around the farm. They have a clutch of moorhen chicks living on the kota pond, and one of them is in this shot.
Nice to view the farmhouse from this angle for a change!

These are a gallery of about 100 different Trees of Leicester. They are taken from many different locations and at various times of the year which shows off their most resplendent looks (I hope).
Sometimes we just walk past them and not notice they are even there. But take a step back and look beyond the people, the shops, the buildings and the streets. You will see an amazing array of Trees that shape Leicester and makes it a glorious place to be.
I hope you recognise these trees and if not –keep a look out for them the next time you are in Leicester.
On Monday I hiked Grandeur Peak. On Tuesday I went to work for the first time in 15 months. It was something different.
