"Work based learning allowed me to work and learn at the same time. At times it didn't seem like there was a difference between school and work because no matter what we learned in class, we were using it at work. This work based program helped me further my skills as a Community Health Worker. J2C helped get me through the toughest part of classes by allowing me to use the qualities I already had in a useful classroom setting." - Monty Monteiro

NAMI Wall of Hope
NAMI Mercer hosted its 4th NAMIWalk on Saturday, May 21, 2011, at Rider University in Lawrenceville New Jersey. Hundreds of people (and dogs) from all over New Jersey walked the 5k walk. There was food, music and vendors from the community. We got to see old friends and make new friends. The weather was beautiful and a good time was enjoyed by all.

Photo-club "judges" who dislike my work and are only capable of pigeon-holing photographs into canned cliché categories can consider this a centre-composed impressionist portrait conveying a message about the power of art over idiocy.
Everyone else with a brain is welcome to consider the more important environmental issues I highlight surrounding that.

The left pic differs from the right by one fault. Will you find it?
Oh, I DON'T talk about the background color. I really don't know, why it's different. Maybe the akkus of the flash...
For FGR's challenge "Spot the difference", 365 days and threesixtyfive.
Eventhough they look the same at fist glance and more so as every day passes, there are some ever so slight differences between Jewel and Darla (Ginger).
If you look close at the beaks, Jewel on the left has a more yellowish beak than Darla, which seems odd since Jewel is the oldest and the older they get the more black the beak should get until eventually all black.
Also, there is some slight green that sneeks through on the right wing of Darla.
