The difference between the T2i and the 5D Mk II when using amazing lenses like the Caltar II-N MC 150mm f/5.6 are not entirely surprising. I guess that's all I can say other than the larger sensor makes the 150mm lens much more usable for everyday things like still life and portraits. I hope to have some portraits up in the next few days. I just need models. Now I am really considering getting a Caltar II-N MC 75mm f/5.6.
Processed in Lr if you can even call it that. I sharpened it ever so slightly and added a gentle vignette. That's it. Shot at f/8, rest of the info should be in the exif data if you are interested in such things.
Charles Babbage's Difference Engine.
This difference engine was built for a wealthy collector in America by a museum in Britain. They built two; one for their museum and one for the collector. This one is on loan to the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, CA.
We saw a demonstration of the Engine; it's quite beautiful.
the difference to us between hipsters and hippies are hippies were original, did what was in their hearts and in turn were artistic by just existing, and had the best, most creative and unique art of our era. hipsters are just regurgitated copies of each other lacking any artistic properties that are distinguishing.
Interesting differences in the presentation of the history of the area. The upper plaque was put up by the state, the lower one by a volunteer organization. Also interesting is that they're in the same monument.

Flickr seems to darken my images. When i uploaded the kite pic(featured here) i was disappointed coz there was way too much noise and dark color in flickr version of the pic as compared to the original.

This is one representative of 15 species of finches found only in the Galapagos Islands. The most important differences between them are in the size and shape of their beaks, and that their beaks are highly adapted to different food sources. In most other ways they resemble those in the South America mainland. This suggests that the Galapagos Finches migrated from South America and that once in the Galapagos they adapted and evolved depending of their choice and availability of food.

As part of my GCSE Art & Design qualification, I created this piece as my final artwork under the title 'Similarities and Differences'. It shows a Macaque monkey drawn in abstract colours and exposing internal parts of its body to reveal a human foetus inside the animal's uterus. My intended message behind the piece was to illustrate a visual metaphor for evolution; although humans and some species of monkeys share over 90% of the same DNA, they are still very different creatures.

Waking up after a party. Same room, same table, (almost) the same sofa.
In between there are two and 1/2 years.
Not much difference between here and Chicago, except they don't have alleys. And they've got more places to push the snow so it's not in the street.
This was Sunday, February 6, and we had MORE snow. The next day, we had another 5 inches. Enough, already!
Yeah, the old Soviet workers monument was pulled down a few months back. See the statue here;
