Niamh came home with this cake from nursery today, to celebrate valentines day on Sunday.
This week has also been 'cake a difference' as part of the Bliss annual Kiss for Bliss fundraising appeal. We've made and sold cakes to try and raise funds to make a difference for babies born too soon, too small, too sick.

From my observations:
The hairline, her eyebrows, her freckles, her blush, her eyes (obviously) eye makeup, and for some reason, the wedding rapunzel's nose is a little more upturned...

Our annual Women and Men Making a Difference Luncheon was held on October 9, 2015 at the Colville Community College. Tom Thelen, bullying prevention speaker, was this year's keynote. Tom also traveled to four schools to provide anti-bullying assemblies. The four schools (Wellpinit, Springdale, Valley and Colville) also received his book, DVD and curriculum. Wo+men Making a Difference raises funds for Rural Resources Victim Services and Kids First Children's Advocacy Center. If you are in New York City, you can go there by train; take Metro North railroad to Stamford, and transfer to another train to New Canaan. The visitor center of Philip Johnson Glass House is just across the street from the train station.
It is on the edge of Connecticut.
The variety of terrain on The Big Island of Hawaii is crazy -- we drove from Hilo all the way around the east side of the island to our hotel just outside of Kona. The drive was definitely worth the time -- just to appreciate the vast differences between each area of the island.

This place was absolutely incredible. I was entertained for hours, running among the slowly decaying/preserved art installations in the desert. This man was a genius. He co-founded the Watts Towers Art Center and was a founding member of the California Arts Council.
