there's a huge difference between a mountain sunrise & an ocean sunrise. i hate the mountains and i love the ocean.
The difference in colors on Haley’s dress and the background of this photo being the subject out. It was breezy out at the time and the wind was blowing just right through Haley’s hair. We took this picture right before u get to the bridge going into Clarion from Shippenville. There was an area off to the side with beautiful landscaping and a bench. The settings are shutter speed: 1/500, aperture: 7.1, and ISO: 200. In post production, I increased the exposure and contrast a bit. The yellow flowers in the back and the sun were washing Haley out so I made the temperature cooler with blue tones. In addition to this I increased the vibrance. I added shadows too and deceased highlights.
I love the layer effect provided by "Difference" but know that it is rather gimmicky. Today however I couldn't go past these colours. What do you think, does it look too gimmicky?
