Originally developed along the waterfront, Rainbow Row is a set of Georgian-style buildings that once housed businesses on the ground floors and residences above. Built between 1748 and 1792, the buildings are the longest remaining set of Georgian row houses in the United States, and were part of a vibrant commercial and residential district when built. By the 1920s, the area had fallen into steep decline, and the buildings were dilapidated, and home to low-end housing. Susan Pringle Frost, founder of the Society for the Preservation of Old Dwellings, which later became the Preservation Society of Charleston, bought six buildings that now comprise part of Rainbow Row, but, lacking the funds to restore them, the houses languished. In 1931, Dorothy Haskell Porcher Legge bought the house at 99-101 East Bay Street, and restored the structure, painting it bright pink, kicking off a trend of painting the buildings in colorful paint scheme. By 1945, most of the buildings had been restored and painted in bright colors, leading to the present name and appearance of Rainbow Row. Today, Rainbow Row is one of the most well-known places in Charleston, and a popular tourist attraction.

The first sense an embryo develops within the womb is smell. When babies are born they immediately recognize their mother through the vanilla-like scent of her breast milk. Maybe, this explains the historical belief that women have “two noses”, a ‘normal’ nose and the womb. Either way, research shows the symbioses between the scent of their mother’s milk on the newborn, and a hormone rush in the new mum when she smells the top of her baby’s head.

The 16mm cine film Developing Tank appears unused
or if used has been cleaned meticulously.
The ORIGINAL box shows some signs of wear.
The Developing Tank is from Leningrad, Russian / USSR. It has a certificate.
It dates 18 VIII 1964. (That's 18th of August 1964)
The rubber pipes are in really good condition and not porous or brittle at all.
Quite amazing for this age. The Tank itself is almost scratch free, shining
and just looks fantastic. I do not know how to use it. And I am only selling
as I have course fees to pay, so it is a reluctant sale of an object I adore.
If you are interested in the Developing Tank then please see the
collection of youtube videos I made showing it from all angles
www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL000C1C02C698EBC3
(at the moment I have 8 or so individual short clips of the developing tank,
arranged in a playlist, please check through them on you tube)
You should be able to see how good it looks. I can re-film any aspect of it
if you are interested, so please just get in touch, with questions and suggestions.
I am uploading the youtube videos at the moment, so they may take an hour or
so before they link up correctly.
I hope you will love this item as I did.
check this page it lists lots of tanks for sale in the US and UK, mine is the cheapest: www.super8camera.com/netsearch.php?zoekterm=developing+ta...
A developing Supercell across far Northeast Wisconsin on July 1 2017. Only isolated storms were expected, but this beast began to develop along an old outflow boundary from a storm early in the afternoon. Aiding in the development was a lake breeze boundary. The updraft was so explosive.
Visual identity developed for Kemplus Industrial Cleaning Company. The concept is simply to put emphasis one the (+) plus of the logo. A way to communicate the value of the brand. This project have been done with Paginart.
