Quando ho aperto il portone mi sono ritrovata in questo bellissimo luogo. I primi 5 minuti li ho passati ad ammirare la luce che filtrava dalle grandi finestre. Poi la mia attenzione si è spostata sui vari oggetti vecchi e abbandonati. Ed ho visto questo angolino....

Oregon Grape Leaf,Decaying from the center.

There are many lovely fishing boats around the Isle of Mull, but these two at Salen are the most photographed on the island. I don't know how long they've been there, but they're gradually rotting away and one day, no doubt, the water will claim them. Even in their decaying state I think they're very beautiful. I've used HDR here to bring out the colour of the peeling paint.
