Because these lanterns grew so readily, we pulled up the three to five non-native plants. Brought a few of the "lanterns" into the garage where they've dried or decayed.
For possible Macro Mondays theme of #decay. Aperture at f/4. About 4cm horizontally.

Clinging to the fence of a house, this rusty, decrepit ironwork reminded me of a metal flower from a more modern era.

I was going to skip this week as I'm busy preparing to go away...but it was such a nice theme I couldn't resist a quick try with this tulip petal from the Spring. HMM everyone!
It's create lots of curiosity among flickr friends..... Many of them tried and come close to it.... it's a decayed Avacodo Seed, which was lying in my backyard, Idea of selecting it only comes on Sunday after looking the theme. It's 15 days old,... Shines on Macro Monday...
