cargando sobre su espalda...
un peso crujiente que hiere.....
en el tiempo me perdÃ....como antes...
sin saber como llegar a ninguna parte...
arrastrarte sobre la arena que vive bajo mis pies...
se siente y duele....
y ya no importa....
nada vale nada
sólo que llegue la noche....
y se coma todas las palabras....
apagando la luz... y las pupilas arrasadas...
...ya queda poco que importe....
solo los gritos en la oscuridad y en las voces....
I'm fascinated by the looks of this old abandoned house, so whenever i'm in the area i can't resist doing it again. ..The dead tree is a Locust Tree.
I discovered it over 25yrs ago and i try to shoot it a little differently each time.

I found this early homestead on a back road near Centerville. I've seen a few towers like the one on the left. *Anyone know what it is? Note: Several contacts think it's a water tower, and i tend to agree. A windmill would have been on the backside.
The light wasn't the greatest, so I'll do another shot if I'm in the area again.

Went for a walk around Langstone Harbour, Hampshire yesterday evening looking for a new spot to capture the sunset and came across these decaying wooden post which I believe were part of the remains of the Billy Line Railway that used to operate between mainland at Havant & Hayling Island.
A strong westerly wind was blowing and dark low level clouds so not good conditions for sunset images so I decided to try a long exposure using the Lee Big Stopper ND filter and create a misty white water effect!
75 second exposure using Lee 10 stop Big Stopper + 0.9 ND grad Filter over the sky.

This Picture is another reason to go for an antique Voigtländer Heliar - I don't know any lens that produces similar shine in soft backlight, which I find particularly fitting in the serene atmosphere of the old Jewish Cemetary in Berlin-Weißensee.

Like it's cousin, urban decay, those remnants of mankind out in the country fall victim to the same fate of neglect and abandonment.
This picture was taken in Southern Ontario near Erieau.
Kent School / Sint Jozefsheim
In 1909 werd begonnen met de bouw van klooster St Jozefsheim. Toen het complex in 1913 gereed was bestond het uit een kantoor, een kerk, een school en 2 gebouwen waar de broeders en andere inwonenden ondergebracht werden De broeders van de Sint Franciscus Orde namen het klooster in 1913 in gebruik. Er leefden zo'n 600 mensen, voornamelijk gehandicapte kinderen.
Al in 1937 vertrokken de broeders weer uit het klooster, voornamelijk vanwege het feit dat het Nazi regime in opmars was. In 1939 werd het klooster een opvanghuis voor kinderen die geestelijk of lichamelijk gehandicapt waren. Een nieuwe wet was aangenomen waarin stond dat elk gehandicapt kind geregistreerd moest worden. Het klooster kreeg toen de naam Waldniel Hostert. Op 1 oktober kreeg Adolf Hitler de macht en gebruikte Waldniel Hostert als euthanasiecentrum. Gehandicapte mensen, zowel kinderen als volwassenen werden hier ondergebracht aangezien er voor hen geen plaats was in het Nieuwe Rijk van Hitler. Bekend is dat tussen 1939 en 1943 zeker 512 mensen gestorven zijn in Waldniel Hostert, waaronder 128 kinderen.
Pas in 1952 werd het klooster teruggegeven aan de Sint Franciscus Orde. In 1955 verkocht de Sint Franciscus Orde het klooster aan de Engelsen die het tot 1963 als militair hospitaal gebruikten. Vervolgens werd het klooster omgebouwd tot school, Kent School genaamd. Er hebben 1400 kinderen op deze school gezeten waarvan er 270 in het internaat verbleven. De andere kinderen werden per bus gehaald en gebracht. Elke dag reden er 50 bussen en er werd zelfs een busstation op het terrein gebouwd. In 1992 werd de school gesloten en staan de gebouwen te verkrotten.
