Cucumbers growing on a trellis made of conduit

Found this at a farm stand in Santa Barbara County, California. Doesn't taste like a lemon but looks like one, sort of. About fist sized, it tastes a little milder and sweeter than normal cukes. Apparently they are very easy to grow. It was really delicious in my salad.

On the left is Rosa Bianca Eggplant an on the right is a Lemon Cucumber plant. This little guy had been suffering from what I suspected was powdery mildew and I didn't think he was going to make it. But I pulled off all the infected leaves and the new growth looks pretty healthy. It's covered in male flowers.
