Makes me think of the Seattle day spa where I first had it.

:10 things --

Cucumber, red onion, mushrooms.

Need to come back and take this again in July when the rhododendron are in bloom. However it will look completely different by then. Cucumber falls gorge has endless compositions with very difficult exposures. This winter was particular harsh on the gorge. Large hemlock and cherries have come down. I would love to get in there with a chain saw to clean up the dead trees. There is always a stumped tree or dead limb right in the worst possible spot.

This cucumber slice turned up in my colleague's salad. Can one flower of the cucumber plant have produced two fruits that fused into one contiguous body?

Cucumber beetles on iron weed.

Cucumber green spider (Araniella sp.)

This spiders camouflage fooled my autofocus completely. I had to go with manual focus. Not an easy task, since it was moving all the time, and so the result is not as sharp as I'd like.

Baby cucumbers everywhere. If only they grew a bit faster! I am tired of super expensive and bland organic cucumbers from the market. We haven't had a very good luck with those lately. Can't wait for my own.

Whole grain bread, really good store-bought french mayonnaise, one sliced cucumber and thinly sliced red onion. Oh, I also sprinkled with maldon sea salt, rice vinegar, and a tad bit of sugar. Forgot the pepper...oops.

Poptart's dinner last night C:

Sorry I've been dead, guys D: I've been lazy and sidetracked. I meant to be more active once school ended for the year but then I was too focused on trying to go on dates since me and my boyfriend dont see each other as often as we do during the school year. But I'll try to be more active, now!

Poptart's been doing good. at 1 year and 5 months old, she's GIGANTIC now XD I had to move her into her tank cage so she'd be living there all day because her teeth are getting too long and I want her to teeth on her couch, cuz that's pretty much it's purpose besides photo shoots xD; But she escapes a lot, so I need to fix her homemade tank topper or buy a legit one at the pet store once I get some money.

The literature says this species is found in Australia and parts of Asia but it's here in Guatemala.

There was much moaning this spring because the first cucumbers planted out...well, most of them died because of the cold. So my Gardening Partner started some more in the greenhouse and finally planted them out about the first part of July. The hot weather came and now we have plenty for eating and also making pickles :) Mother Nature sure knows how to 'yank your chain'.
