Gisteren werd dan eindelijk het kookboek bezorgd, dat ik in december al besteld had. Komend weekend maar eens wat recepten uitproberen.
Finally I received the cookbook I ordered in December. I think I have some cooking to do next weekend.

I love cookbooks. I read them front to back, like novels.

Oh, and the San Francisco Chronicle book has excellent fancy shortcake recipes.
Also from last fall. Aronia grows in parks and people also grow them for decoration, but usually don't know that it is possible to eat the berries. At least in Finland. It takes 15 minutes to pick a bucket of 10 litres!

I received my cookbook in the mail yesterday from Blurb. They did a really good job and I'm very happy with the way it turned out. I probably went a little overboard with a full page picture for almost every recipe, but I guess that's what happens when your other hobby is photography.
Here's a link if you want to check it out:
This one is a favorite! It has the look of the school readers I used as a child. I love "Better Homes and Gardens" cookbooks. Most of them have classic illustrations and fonts that perfectly mirror the design and fashion of the times. And the recipes are pretty good, too.

Their seal might be tighter – even “[a] lot tighter” - but Reynolds is no Saran Wrap. Sure, they might both be plastic cling wraps; sure, Reynolds may have been able to gain enough recognition to dump the “Plastic” from their name. But when you Google “Reynolds Wrap,” it doesn't come up with a definition!

365 Days in Colour - 9/30 orange. Decided to pull out the orange cookbooks this morning for the days orange. As I was choosing how to compose the shot, The lines for a vanishing point caught my attention. Since that is also on the MSH, this is a two-fer!
I'm a bit of a book addict, so I have many books on many subjects. I probably have 150 cookbooks. The only one in this stack that I have actually cooked from is the Chinese One Dish Meals & the things I've made have all been delicious - especially the Mapo Tofu.
