Related to a post on great 2011 cookbooks pushing the Asian envelope:

My collection of cookbooks.

Clearly it has Katie absolutely worn out.

(For the curious...and this after a culling before we moved...present cookbook count in the house, as I know quite a few remain in storage, is 118. The struggle is real, y'all.)

In the late 1970s, some vegetables that we take for granted today were quite "odd" to most Americans, hence this grocery-store checkout booklet, "The Odd Vegetable Cookbook."

Growing up my Mom cooked most of our meals out of the McCall's cookbook. She's promised it to me when she's gone but well I hope she's around for a very long. So when I found a copy of this out of print book at a thrift store, I grabbed it and called my Mom to let her know that her copy is safe for now.

Wonderful vintage cookbook entitled LIBERACE COOKS! Hundreds of delicious recipes from his seven dining rooms.

Copyright 1970 by Carol Truax. Stated First Edition. Published by Doubleday.

220 pages of recipes, along with 5 page index.

Hardcover in good condition. Clean with no writing or soiling within. Dust jacket shows light edge wear and curling, along with a tear (approx 1 1/2") at bottom front near spine. Front DJ flap is clipped although original $7.95 price remains. Front DJ flap shows creases.

Great vintage cookbook!

Maangchi has a new cookbook!

This is much easier and more beautifull than my 'scribbly notes'.

Well done Maangchi!!!

Her new cookbook is available for free(!) online at her website: www.maangchi.com/cookbook

Here you can also download her previous cookbooks 1 & 2.

Someone must have told the church I like to cook. When I joined the church they gave me a copy of their cookbook.

I should use these some time. :) As you can see, I used to be a vegetarian. :)

This is a project I came up with in 2001, and I recently reworked all my original models and posted the new templates to my website. The text of the cookbook has 3 recipes. Fried rice, instant cocoa mix, and mashed cauliflower.
