Merknad: Fra byggingen av ubåtanlegget Dora på Nyhavna 5 mars 1942.
Fotografen Fritz Petter Digre (1897–1992) var født på Nedre Bakklandet og bodde i Mellomveien 11 fra 1900. Han var utdannet sersjant ved underoffiserskolen på Oscarsborg og var fra 1919 ulønnet sersjant ved Agdenes festning. I 1920 – 1926 jobbet han ved Nidar Sjokoladefabrikk. I 1939 ble han innkalt til nøytralitetsvakt og deltok 9. april på Brettingen fort. I 1941 sendte Arbeidskontoret ham på anleggsarbeid. Etter krigen var han en tid i Kystartilleriet, Brigade Trøndelag, og søkte avskjed i 1948 som sersjant. Hans hobbyer var amatørfotografering og slektsgransking.

The official demolition announcement of most of the "villas" at Satwa was made in October 2008 unveiling its replacement by a luxurious city-garden.
