Der Abriss des Commerzbank-Gebäudes ist in vollem Gang. Insgesamt bleiben jedoch 60% der Bausubstanz erhalten. Der Rückbau dauert bis ins neue jähr an.
Die Commerzbank an der Königsallee weicht weitgehend einem Neubau für Handel, Gastronomie, Sport und Büros. Die Fertigstellung soll 2026 sein.
The demolition of the Commerzbank building is in full swing. Overall, however, 60% of the building fabric will be preserved. The dismantling will continue into the new year.
The Commerzbank on Königsallee is largely giving way to a new building for retail, gastronomy, sports and offices. Completion is scheduled for 2026.

The Hirsch & Cie building in the background is located on Leidseplein and houses the Apple Store Amsterdam.
The building cranes are part of a large renovation project by a luxury hotel group. Rosewood Amsterdam will open in 2025
as the company’s first property in the Netherlands. Housed in the former Palace of Justice, a building of great architectural, historical and social significance that overlooks the Prinsengracht (the Prince’s Canal), one of the city’s most beautiful waterways, in the UNESCO World Heritage listed Amsterdam Canal District.
Daily tasks. The laborious maneuvers are part of it.

This is the old Queensgate Market in Huddersfield. The market was no longer viable as a shopping destination due to changing shopping habits so it is now being re-purposed to create a new, eating, drinking, entertainment and arts venue. I just hope the people of Huddersfield appreciate the project and make use of the venue when complete. The market hall roof was novel when constructed in 1972 in that it consists of a series of Hyperbolic Paraboloids and in fact these are just about the only part of the old structure that is to be retained.

Like a Meccano set (remember those?). This new wing of the University of Tasmania, Inveresk Campus, rises into the sky. The roof line of the new building is designed to mirror the factory look of the old railway workshops nearby.

In the background you can see the new bandstand.
In Huddersfield they are electrifying the transpennine railway route and carrying out repairs to the viaduct as it crosses Bradford Road. The whole project looks like it’s costing a pile of money, I can only guess at the end of the work we will have cleaner faster trains that still don’t run on time! (If they run at all!). I’m obviously writing this tongue in cheek, but Huddersfield is top of the country’s league table for late running and cancelled trains.

Here's where the Raptor gets utilitarian. Big crane on the back and you're good for all your major lifting duties on the construction site. Bigger feet for better stabilization. Protective casing on the back. Bright orange color for that constructionworks feel. Kids dig the playablity too!
