WASHINGTON - Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson makes a surprise visit to the monthly meeting of component executive secretaries hosted by the Executive Secretary of DHS Kimberly O’Conner, Dec. 7, 2015. Secretary Johnson focused on the importance of plain language in DHS written products and thanked the employees for their vital work in day to day operations at the department noting particular the outstanding performance of the employees attending the meeting. 36 Territorial Battalion Group (36 TBG), a sub component of 36 Canadian Brigade Group (36 CBG), performed urban operations training within the Halifax Regional Municipality from 23-24 January 2016 as part of Exercise STEEL TITAN 2016. Exercise STEEL TITAN was the third 36 TBG training initiative of the 2015/16 fiscal year and tested members of 5th Canadian Division (5 Cdn Div) on close quarter combat and strategy to respond to enemy forces in an urban environment. Karate Monkey's new drivetrain. SIS 2011 wrecked the drive train so a new BB and chain was in order... and a perfect oppurtunity to change the ring and cog. Used Homebrewed Components cog and ring. Great stuff! The chain is a ultra cheap KMC chain.

The instructions for the kit are superlative. Liana did virtually all the work in preparing each component to spec and snapping them all into the breadboard according to the diagram - I only helped by reading instructions as she had both hands and eyes busy, then double-checking placement.
Went on a walk this morning (legs too sore for a run, and I wanted to wander about with my camera anyway). Quite happy with some of the results.
The silver seatpost and stem irritated me, so I replaced them with a couple of black components I had lying around. The seatpost (from the Shiromoto) only has about 20mm offset instead of 35mm offset, so I had to compensate by putting on a 100mm stem instead of the 80mm one that I had (and I had to pull the decaleur receiver as part of this process, because the receiver slots fouled against the bottom of the stem.)
Still no rack, but maybe I'll get some time to work on it this weekend
The allied Field Training Exercise (FTX) ‘Noble Justification-14’ will take place on military training areas in Poland and Lithuania during September this year. It is a certification for NATO Special Operations Component (SOC) before taking over combat readiness duties within the NATO Response Forces in 2015 (NRF 2015). Altogether, about 1700 soldiers from 15 countries will take part in the exercise.

VERNAZZA transportó una serie de componentes para una planta industrial a montarse en la mina Lama, ubicada en la provincia de san Juan.
Estos bultos de enorme magnitud fueron transportados combinando camiones tractores de gran poder de tracción junto a nuestras lÃneas modulares hidráulicas de 8 neumáticos cada una.
Más precisamente, cada convoy contó con una plataforma hidráulica de 6 lÃneas en total, es decir, con una suma de 48 neumáticos por cada remolque configurado.
