December was a bitterweet month at LFF. Sadly our starting venue, the Marriott, is no longer available to us as it's being turned into an Italian restaurant.
THe Marriott has been a brilliant start venue for the last year and a bit and it's sad to have to move, but we got a professional photographer in to take some photos of the last one, and some incredible group photos outside the Marriott which just go to show what an amazing event Leeds First Friday is.
We helped another newbie on her first time out - Carla. And I met up with my friend Beth - Beth helped me out the first time I ever went, and she doesn't get out much so it was amazing to see her again. And bumped into lots of friends old and new.
All in all, a great night!
Pictures from the new venue, The End which is a great place. We really liked it in there.
First of all I will comment on what has happened in my former (and future) hometown, it is terrible, it happens all the time, before it was India and before that the UK. what shall we do? just keep on doing what we do, Terrorists want our free-speech democratic society to crumble and rot, I don´t want that, and all who wants to live in a free society are united in this, more united than the small party-tactics and squabble...
To my beloved Vienna and it´s people: Stay strong and firm in the open society that we want and defend it agains those who want to tear it to the ground!
and Dear Rainer, rest in piece my friend, yes it has been a bad couple of days!

Now for something more joyful, chinosaurs, I remember them from my childhood my local shop had them, finally I bought a bag, I think it was 25:- crowns, then I notice that there were many variants even them so I bought a second one, the bug like thing is from my original collection they others are figures I have put aside through the years as I buy vintage toys for sale, I actually have 3 different ancient birds (2 different versions) otherwise this is my whole collection, guess I love them for because of the enormous variety and number of years the have been molded and remolded and the millions of versions they come in...
Peace and Flower Power!

My good friend Sarah had the chance to come to Hull for a night and had not been before.
I took her for a little drive around - I took her to see the Humber Bridge (at night) and we had a little wander around the town centre, then went for a couple of drinks at The Star.
It's usually Leeds where I see Sarah so it was a really nice chance to show her around my home town. We did a couple of hours tour round the old town the next day too.
We got on the website gallery too, ha ha!

Behind the scene description: Night to Day time-lapse of the landmark of Putrajaya (Putra Mosque and the Prime Minister's Office.
Location description: Putrajaya is a planned city, located 25 km south of Kuala Lumpur, that serves as the federal administrative centre of Malaysia. The seat of government was shifted in 1999 from Kuala Lumpur to Putrajaya, due to the overcrowding and congestion in the Kuala Lumpur areas. Nevertheless, Kuala Lumpur remains Malaysia's national capital, being the seat of the King and Parliament, as well as the country's commercial and financial centre. Putrajaya was the brainchild of former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohammad. In 2001, Putrajaya became Malaysia's third Federal Territory after Kuala Lumpur and Labuan. - From wikipedia

As I've described in a newly-added update at the top of my Flickr profile page (www.flickr.com/people/99244229@N04/), I recently finally had the opportunity to be back in full make-up and even being out in public en femme, the latter for the first time since April 2014. This pic is the 56th in a new series from this recent activity, which in this case happened just last month.
This particular pic is a snapshot from a video I took in a women's changing room at my local Macy's, taking advantage of the 3 mirrors in the room. The video is posted with my other, older YouTube videos at youtu.be/cl87Z5C7fm4. Please check it out and comment/fave here if you like.
As usual, I really enjoy color-coordinating attractive/sexy/cute outfits, and this one features: Forever 21 nude-beige faux-leather ultra-high-heel 5.25"-stiletto strappy sandals; a Forever 21 nude crisscross-lacing-scoopneck long-sleeve crop top; a Forever 21 tan grommeted waist-belt; a Style & Co. "diamond stripe" ivory-beige tiered chiffon-hem midi skirt (from Macy's); a Forever 21 nude-taupe faux-leather mini-crossbody handbag with flap top; nude wide-net fishnet tights; a Lauren Conrad beige-pink floral sheer scarf; gold rings, earrings, necklace, watch, and bracelets.
More about this and other new 2017-18 pics was written up recently in a descriptive Update provided in my profile or "About" page here on Flickr. It details some choices made for these 2017-18 pics.
Let me know your thoughts... :-)

Because of the ridiculous hotel prices over Jubille weekend, it was decided to move Leeds First Friday to the second Friday instead. And it was a very quiet weekend, not just for the event but Leeds itself was really quiet.
Before heading back to Hull on Sunday afternoon, I went to meet a dear friend who lives in Leeds, and we went for a wander around Meanwood Park with her son.
What a lovely afternoon! Delightful company and a beautiful place. A perfect way to finish the weekend.
We finished up at a lovely cafe at the edge of the park for a drink.
Comments and critics about the photo are welcomed (not about the photographer) . PLEASE, no multivitamins in your comments :D. Thanx so much and have great days ahead :)

My first weekend in Milton Keynes since September 2017. Pink Punters has changed a lot since I was last there - the attic bar is now a swanky cocktail bar and it looks great!
It was our good friend Melissa's birthday so we had a meal and a birthday cake presentation in TGI Fridays.
We also helped Helen out for her first real outing in public too. And saw some friends I haven't seen in ages!
And the next day I had Ikea meatballs for the first time and they were delicious!
Bathroom selfies.

A couple of workwear photos - one of my jobs is messier than the other - can you tell which is which? Ha ha.

This is definitely a combination I like, this top with the white jeans. I'm stating to realise, though, just how impossible it is to wear white jeans and not get marks on them!
