A birthday weekend in Derby visiting Gemma.
It was my birthday on the MOnday, then on the Friday it was Gemma's.
Saturday morning we went to Dovedale for a walk through the most amazingly beautiful landscape.
I absolutely love it there. Heaven on Earth.

Ok...so I've got my blocks made and am trying to decide on the final pattern for my doll quilt. I wanted to add a little something extra to the project. One idea is use a focus block in the center. My other idea would be to use the focus block on the back. What do you think?

I went for a weekend visiting Gemma in Derby.
Sunday morning we headed back to Cherry Treet Farm because they have all you can eat breakfast on for only £7.49! A bargain!
Afterwards we stopped off to have a quick look at the extremely deep Stenson Lock. Impressive engineering!
