Saturday night we went out but not for long!
Most of the bars we passed were rammed and we didn't fancy that. We ended up at the Green Room again for one drink but it was dead in there (what a contrast!) so we headed back to the hotel for an early ngiht.

Sunday night we went to see our lovely and so talented friends Smooth Operator playing in Hedon.
We went for delicious food at the Camerton pub beforehand and even managed dessert before heading to see the gig.
Helen (the singer in Smooth Operator) even borrowed my Orinoco womble to wear while she was singing Wombling Merry Christmas, ha ha!

As is our tradition, Gemma came to Hull for Christmas.
The night before New Year, we went for a night on Prince's Avenue around a few bars. That was after a hearty tea of home made steak pie and double-cooked chips! :-)

I had a lovely evening out with my old friend Andrew. We went for Greek food at a place I had not tried before (very good it was too!) then on to 80 Days Bierhaus micropub which I discovered a couple of months previously with Bella when she was visiting.

Our friend Trisha was up in Hull so we met up with her on Friday night. We tried a new place in the Prince's Quasy shopping centre called Iron Lilies, a nice looking new bar that has opened, but you had to book a table and we hadn't so we ended up sat outside for a drink.
After that we went to the Old Town to the Scale and Feather, before heading back to The Star to finish the evening. A lovely time!

It was so good to be back in Lincoln for a weekend after missing it last year. We love Lincoln, it's such a beautiful city.
After the rams trail in Derby, in Lincn they had the Imps so over the weekend I got pics of them where I could. Lovely to see this around the place.

'Blue Hour' in "Taman Seri Empangan", Putrajaya, Malaysia. 28th May 2013. Planning to capture the sunset and golden hour but arriving late at location because of company event, I could only captured the this beautiful blue hour as the sunset are fading away.

Saturday night wasn't a late one, but we had a cracking night. Food at the Royal William IV on the waterfront, followed by a drink at the Skylight Lounge bar at the Hilton, then up the hill to the Strait And Narrow pub where we got talking to a lovely group with whom we hope to meet next time we're in Lincoln.
The Strait and Narrow is such a quirky place. It has phones all over and you can ring other phones in the pub and chat to random people!

Here my today's pic, why a manipulated shot? well today I went to get lunch (as everyday with my colleagues) to the restaurant of a clinic close to the office, there were hamburgers in the menu so I ordered one... when I got my hamburger the little paper flag you see was stocked in the hamburger... I saw it and then I was sure about what I wanted to do for my today's pic...

Lincoln weekend.
Friday night we went to our favourite food place, Lawson's. Amazing food in there! I always go for the beef blade with horseradish mash and red jelly.
Alice came along too - it was a great night! After the food we went to the Strait And Narrow for a couple of drainks.
