This week's theme was: V is for Viewpoint
Rather a desperation shot, but this is the latest editorial in our local paper.

My social life is definitely back on track after a few weeks out! Gemma was up again in Hull and Friday night we once again went to Cognac French restaurant then on to Prince's Avenue.
I loved the dress I was wearing for the first time - I love the shoulder detail which gives it a very sci-fi feel!
What a great night. The fod was divine at Cognac. We took in a few bars on Prince's Avenue - although my favourite 80 Days was full so we couldn't get in there. Instead we went in Pave, Accomplice, Atom then back to Pave for a last drink.

My first LFF since October 2023 and we had a great time.
Saturday night we went out for pie at Pieminister then away from our usual places. We went down Call Lane to Call Lane Social, where they have a tiki bar upstairs.
We had a brilliant night! Met loads of lovely people and stayed in the one venue all night. Very unusual for us to do that.

I had my dear friend Bella visiting for the weekend, and it was a fantastic weekend!
Saturday evening we went for a few quiet drinks onto Prince's Avenue, only half a mile walk from where I live. We had a great time - much more understated than a night in town but just as enjoyable.
A drink outside Garbutt's then on to 80 Days Bierhaus which was a lovely little wuirky bar with all sorts of oddities scattered around.
Ready to go out. Accidentally caught the shutter trigger, lol.

I went with my friend Charlotte to an event on Prince's Avenue. I've been a few times before - it's called Beat The Clock. They play 70s and 80s and lots more - all played from 7" vinyl. Old school!
We had a cracking night and danced most of the night away.
While we were there, someone tok a photo of me while I was on the dancefloor, and I absolutely love it! I have it in colour and black and white, and I have to say I prefer the black and white - it's more atmospheric. Totally love the photo and it will be one I print out to put up on my wall!
At Beat The Clock. What a great night.

Emerald Bay, Lake tahoe : Panorama
This picture was taken during my recent ski trip to beautiful Lake Tahoe.
Location : Lake tahoe , California.
Emerald Bay is located on the southwest shore of Lake Tahoe in Eldorado County. The 593 acre Emerald Bay State Park surrounds this turquoise blue bay which has been designated as a National Natural Landmark by the U.S. Department of Interior. The bay itself has been deemed one of the 'most photographed places on earth'.
At the end of our Ski trip we decided to visit Emerald Bay before heading for home. It was a cold day and we almost reached the bay, till we came to a dead stop, all cars had stopped. We found that just before the bay an avalanche occured, thus no way to drive. Instead of sitting in the car, we decided to go for a hike and find a spot for a few shots, well !! we found this spot overlooking the beautiful bay.....woooo !! the snow was deep upto my knees and my friend Jignesh and me carefully climed in this area and got this shot.

It was so good to be back in Lincoln for a weekend after missing it last year. We love Lincoln, it's such a beautiful city.
Saturday started out pretty grey but dry enough to get out and enjoy the day. I spent a lovely afternoon in the Arboretum - what a beautiful place!
Brayford wharf. The lilies were in flower!

I had a fabulous night out with my dear friend Andrew,
We did Hitchcock's all-you-can-eat vegetarian restaurant to start the evening, before heading to Prince's Avenue where Hoi had a karaoke night on.
I sang 2 songs! To start with, The Beautiful South - Don't Marry Her, then my karaoke go-to song Mika - Grace Kelly.
