The comments are pretty much completely unrelated. I kinda liked them but not really enough to put them as their own posts, so I put them here :)
Mkay so I took a lot of photos yesterday :)
We went on an airboat tour of the Everglades but I didn't have the camera on that part, my daddy did.
After that, we hung out around there for a while and I got chased around by a chicken and people laughed at me. Good times :D
And thennnn we went to the fruit and spice park where I took this picture. I almost ran into that tree with my face :O
Uhh yup that's it. Today is our last full day at this awesome hotel, but that's okay because I'm getting tired of waking up and trying to look okay every morning, just to eat breakfast haha.
Also I have a deathly fear of getting a sunburn. And hairy legs kinda freak me out too :P Along with orange spray tans and old people in speedos. All of which this beach has.
:D Easter is almost here! That means I can almost start texting again...
Havva nice daaay!
P.S. I used 5 emoticons on this photo :) that's six.

[ Comment from professor in charge ] Koichi Ono
The lines unreeled impromptu, freely from the movement of the artist's body create exquisite symphony of figure and ground. This kind of expression is frequently seen in the combination of water colour and paper. However, when one tries to do this by oil on canvas it is apt to fail. Courageous efforts were made to tackle with this difficult task, though the process lead her to confront fundamental problems on structure of the composition. She endured persistently, and after numerous experiments wonderfully achieved completion.

We started off in LFF's new start venue,Bridge End Social. LFF has been cryng our for a suitable start venue since the MArriott repurposed theirs back in December 2022. Bridge End Social seems to tick all the boxes - it was a great start venue,
From there we wen to the PAck Horse an we were joined by our friends Janet and Phil. Then on to The End and we finished the night in Smokestack.
In The End with Lyn.
In her concluding comments at this year’s UBCM conference, Premier Christy Clark announced that B.C. will be moving forward with a bridge to replace the Massey Tunnel and that there will be infrastructure planning grants available for Northwest LNG communities.
The UBCM conference is a chance for local governments to engage with each other and the provincial government and an opportunity for local governments to meet face to face with provincial cabinet ministers. It allows for an exchange of ideas and best practices, all aimed at making B.C. a better place. To find out more about what’s happening at this year’s conference, head to the BC Government Newsroom: www.newsroom.gov.bc.ca/2013/09/ubcm-2013.html
Thank you, in advance, to those of you who take a moment to leave a comment and/or fave my photo. I appreciate it tremendously.
* Gargoyles are waterspouts set high on a building that direct rainwater away from the building's walls. Most gargoyles are carved from a block of solid stone. They are made to look like animals, monsters, laughing or scowling humans, dragons, or demons. A channel, or groove, cut along the top of the statue directs rainwater away from the building through the gargoyle's open mouth.
* The longer the gargoyle, the further the water would be carried from the walls, which is why they’re usually carved into a very long, fantastic looking creature.
* Although gargoyles come in many forms, most are carved into grotesque, hideous looking creatures in order to frighten off evil spirits from the buildings which they guard.
* An ornamental gargoyle that is not constructed as a waterspout is technically called a chimera or boss.
* The term gargoyle originates from the French word gargouille, which means throat or gullet. Appropriately, the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris is famous for its gargoyles and chimeras, which are clearly visible from the ground and look out over Paris.

So, here is my first levitation trials, i think they turned out pretty good. What pissed me off though was that I searched high and low for tutorials and I found some really good ones eventually, but the thing that pissed me off was that I was looking at actual discussion threads on Flickr, in groups, and people would ask a question about levitation or how to do it or if someone had/found a tutorial and all everyone did was either tell them about one they saw [but no link] or put up a picture of their trial of levitation, basically bragging about how they knew how to do it and that it was simple and basically just rubbing it in people’s faces and all this, at least that’s how I saw it. I found it rude and not helpful at all, if someone doesn’t know how to do something, how is it simple to them? TELL THEM/ if anything, give them a damn link. And for goodness sakes, don’t say Google It, because there’s a reason they put it up on Flickr. Ugh. Whatever. People are either really dumb or just plain a-holes these days.
Mmmm moving on. Well…I passed my driving test today! I can get my driver’s license in May, on my birthday :]
Aaaannnddd that number in the title is not random, I assure you. I’m going to start a little project, every picture that I put up, that number will be lower than before…hopefully, it is my weight. I'm trying to get to 160 before May 7th people! [that's prom!] and once we’re at one 160, there will probably be a picture of me in my Marines shirt [hopefully] and then after that, we’ll try and get to 145..and after that…we’ll see :] I’m not ashamed to say my weight, because I haven’t been 188 since probably sophomore year, and I’m steady going down. My belts don’t fit anymore, my pants are loose, it’s awesome to see that all this hard work is paying off. Things just seem to be going great right now, I’m on the right track to where I need to be.
What else…. oh yes, one more thing. I swear, I must have won at LEAST 5 or 6 print giveaways, I sent everyone my info and everything and they were all so long ago, like during Christmas time, the only person that came through was Aisha capture. I know that it’s a print giveaway and I shouldn’t be complaining, but if you say you’re going to do something…:/ do it? Besides, I’m sure it makes people feel insecure about giving out their location for one purpose and that purpose is not fulfilled, and they’re paranoid now..
Anyway, enjoy.
edit:
oh yes, thank you for reminding me Niklas, here is the best tutorial that I found.
he's got some pretty awesome other photos on his stream too, especially the Avatar one <3

Gemma was in Hull for Pride weekend.
On the Friday night we were invited to a birthday party at Hoi for Steve the owner. It was an 80s icons themed fancy dress party although fancy dress was not mandatory, thankfully. I didn't have anything suitable.
What a brilliant night though, and some awesome costumes including Where's Wally, Boy George, Freddie Mercury, Axl Rose, Madonna and more.
Unfortunately we couldnt' stay until the end because we had to be up early the next morning to glam up for the Pride parade.
Any comments and favs are very much appreciated

Private Berwyn Glynduir Williams
Rank: Private
Regiment: 4th Seaforth Highlanders
Degree: Student
Comments: Killed in action at Rheims 20 July 1918
(Photograph ID: Ch 4/4/2/2/304 Copyright University of Glasgow)
Berwyn Glynduir Williams, whose name echoes the valleys of Wales, was born and brought up in Glasgow. He was the son of John and Lilly, and in 1916, when Berwyn went up to Glasgow University to study medicine, the family lived at 104 King’s Park Road, Cathcart. He described his father as a commercial traveller. That autumn Berwyn was 17, too young to join the army, and he enrolled for classes in Zoology and Chemistry.
He did quite well and gained a merit certificate in Professor John Graham Kerr’s class of Zoology. He stayed long enough to sit the First Professional exam in Medicine in March 1917. Despite his distinction in the classwork of Zoology, he failed that subject, but passed in Chemistry. It was to be his last exam. He must have reached his eighteenth birthday and in May, 1917, he enlisted as a Private in 1/4th Seaforth Highlanders.
His war lasted little more than a year and ended near Rheims on 20th July 1918. The commune of Marfaux had been captured by the Germans and after some very fierce fighting it was re-taken on 23rd July by the 51st (Highland) and 62nd (West Riding) Divisions along with the New Zealand Cycling Battalion.
Private Berwyn Glynduir Williams was killed in this action, aged 19, and is buried in Marfaux Cemetery. His dissecting kit, a reminder of the lost prospect of completing his medical studies at Glasgow, is held by the University’s Hunterian Museum in its collection of medical and scientific instruments.

Hello everybody! I was thinking here ... Many people come here on my flickr and just viewing the photos, few people comment! I know it's boring to say, but i did not come talk to charge you. I was even thinking of doing a few games here, like putting a piece of the picture and guess who is famous, or write pieces of music and guess the name has several games. And I wonder if you would play:) IF YES OR NO COMENTE ABOUT THE IDEA!
l'oubli, quelque chose d’immortel.
- Personnage parlant
- Tout terrain sec (intérieur/extérieur, asphalte, pelouse, etc)
- Tout public
- Déambulatoire ou fixe, adaptable à tout événement
- Dimensions : 2.6 m de haut, 1.2 m d’envergure
-------------------------------------------
n'importe quel air populaire.

This was taken in the Yellow Room at Old Marylebone Town Hall in Westminster, where Sarah got married.
Although the room was small, it had nice large windows to get some nice natural light shots...
I used my wide angle lens for this. I actually bought the lens for landscape and cityscape photography, I never thought it would come in handy for weddings and portraits, but it is a great lens. Especially in small rooms like this one, where you are trying to get everything and everybody in the frame.
